Hey Rob, thank you so much for the fantastic content. IMO the 2 best sources for startup advice are Microconf and YCombinator and yes, exactly in this order!

This is an awesome video! Getting started in marketing (for me) is the hardest part of doing a startup. I would rather go to the dentist!

What if you start marketing before coding and you get a real buyer who says sign me up right away 😢.. and you don’t have the SaaS ready?for me have an MVP atleast then perfect as you market/sign people up

I would engage in a conversation with that person and have them help me prioritize the feature set of the MVP.

But if you start talking about your product ( marketing b4 coding ) isn't possible your idea will be stolen ( like Bill gates stole Jobs idea and Zuckerberg stole Winklevoss idea 😂😂) , and while you marketing what it's not exist yet , someone will manage to make it and publish it b4 you

Yeah but nowadays what idea hasn’t been made already? None really. Sometimes someone using your same idea isn’t game breaking, just make sure you can do it better and have more passion

@@oSpam my idea hasn't been made yet 🙃.. that's why it's not good to talk about it b4 it launched 🤣🤣

Ideas are literally the most worthless part of a startup

Nope. Nobody actually cares.

Building it is WAY, WAY harder and more work than thinking of it. The value is in the execution - not the idea.
