Great video! Love those sailfin and flagfin shiners. I started microfishing catching darters and they are still my first love 😉. I chase them whenever I can.

Wwlcome to my neck of the woods. I'm a 7th generation native of Florida. My ancestor owned the mill that Milton was named after. Never seen a fishing video where someone just caught minnows. However, I love nature and you did a fantastic job of showing the natural beauty of these tiny critters.

Brilliant as always. I hope you realise how lucky you are! We only have ~35 species of freshwater fish in the uk and I caught pretty much all of them in a year, only 2 invasives (Prussian carp and Wels Catfish) left plus some endangered stuff like Shad which are too rare to actively target :(

You are correct on how lucky it is to be multi species anglers in the US. So much diversity with states like AR or MO with well over 200 species and TN with over 300 freshwater species. Then there are the saltwater opportunities.

How do you find these spots man? Just driving around or do you do extensive google earth sat image searches before hand lol

Very rarely do I find spots by driving around. Although in the next video coming out (Saturday) I did find one spot like that. I do find a lot of them using Google Maps satellite view. I've gotten pretty good at it, especially if there are street view images of the area.
