Very exciting! I'm an almost 70-year-old gal who solo through-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2 successive summers in my late 20s ('79 and '80). It was bare bones balls to the wall learning for me, and I still thank God I survived in some situations. After that I married, had kids, had lots of Life drama, and the story continues. But that months-long camping odyssey remains the seminal experience of my youth. I very much look forward to videos on your new channel, anchored as I've now been for some decades in suburbia!😃

Holy cow girl! You did that on your own? You were very lucky, and truly gutsy. I just turned 68 this month and I had no clue hiking the Appalachian trail back then was even a thing! I'm afraid I do my hiking at Wal*Mart and the local mall. Tfs 👋😎

Of course I’m going to subscribe to your new channel 👍😊. You so deserve to retire! I’m 73 and retired a few years ago from 43 years as a Registered Nurse…best thing I did (retiring). It honestly took me a couple years (honestly) to not feel guilty about taking it easy…actually didn’t know what to do with myself. Awesome news :)) I for one do not have a freeze dryer. In lieu of that I will still watch and substitute my dehydrated foods, vacuum packed and canned goods. The ability to adjust on the go and to use the information to your advantage is what I am aiming to get from the new channel. any foods they use that are freeze dried they have also for the most part dehydrated so really you can adjust accordingly and still use their awesome advice and meal plans in the new channel as well :)))

I much prefer the plastic Tattler and Harvest Guard lids. They don’t rust. I’ve had no trouble with them whatsoever. I can use them for the rest of my life. Congrats on your big news. I will look forward to seeing your camping videos.
