Thymus is the site of maturation of T lymphocytes the thymus can be identified (histologically) by hassall’s corpuscles ( the slightly big pink circle inside the medulla )

No. Blood vessels are lined by an endothelium and have some smooth muscle in their walls. Other tubes could be lymphatic vessels or the ducts of glands. Other holes could be artefacts caused by the tissue shrinking when it is prepared for sectioning and staining.
