On some laptops you can upgrade the ram and also get copilot+pc experience. I have a lenovo thinkbook 16 g7 IML and it is pretty solid, the thing i like the most is that i get copilot with unlimited chats and image generation for free, and also great battery life

I only know of Apple computers that solder the RAM onto the motherboard. Not heard of any other company doing this much. All the laptops I have ever owned you could change the RAM, there's even an easy access to the RAM with one screw on most laptops.
