I think if I put that in my microwave for 5 minutes, a small pile of ash is all that would remain. I'm pretty sure my microwave uses an antimatter beam to cook food. It's goddamn ridiculous.

Not sure if we didn't read the instructions correctly, or they were just flat out wrong, but it was 5 mins in the microwave, then i tried one... Soggy, warm, half cooked potato... Didn't eat any chips/crisps for a few years after that, and i can still remember the smell. lol

I'd recommend a katana instead of a longsword to get much thinner and precise slices, that is why they took so much extra time. (seriously, maybe if they were thinner they would cook faster).
@theoriginaldylangreene
@theoriginaldylangreene 10 жыл бұрын
Sorry to be "that guy". But a katana is no more precise than a long sword. A katana's blade is actually quite thick.

***** Damn, irrefutable logic; my only weakness.
@theoriginaldylangreene
@theoriginaldylangreene 10 жыл бұрын
AgentTasmania Don't believe the hype. The vikings where making some of the finest blades in the world in the late 1st Century. The reason a katana is made from folded steel is because of the rarity of good steel in Japan. Once they found a design that kind of worked, they didn't change it. Where as the constant power struggles in Europe evolved both the Art of War and metalergy
@theoriginaldylangreene

@theoriginaldylangreene
@theoriginaldylangreene 9 жыл бұрын
AgentTasmania I was replying to your comment about viking blades. Besides the fact that early Norse blades where based on the spatha, it's self a Roman longsword, and that as a general rule they got longer with time. But that's besides the point, you need to read more about Viking crucibled steel. It wasn't bettered until the industrial revolution. The Japanese didn't have this technology for another 800 years.

PsylomeAlpha My relic takes forever to cook anything. For example, the other day, I put in a packet of popcorn. The packet said to microwave for 4 minutes. However, after 4 minutes, not a single kernel was popped, so I had to set it for another 4 minutes. In other words, it takes at least twice as long to cook as a normal microwave. But hey, it still works, and if it ain't broke, there's no need to replace it!

I like that microwave design, but I don't like it covering the buttons, but it looks so good.

I once tried to make my own crisps by shallow frying a sliced up potato on the hob. Sadly it took like 50 minutes and it still didn't really work.

Not from what I remember sadly, they didn't really get crispy so they just sort of went into a more solid form but still tasted raw.

I had one of these but never used it. Also, I think I remember watching this when you first uploaded it. Blimey.

I don't care what they taste like, I subscribe to the Directly Proportional Law of Crisps: The more I eat the happier I get.
