I bought one from Kmart, I’ve only cooked cheese toasties so far, cook 1 1/2 minutes in a 700 watt microwave, turn the toasties over and cook 1 1/2 more minutes, it’s brown both sides. The bread is a bit chewy but it’s crunchy on the outside. I tried it with frozen slices of bread as well, it cooked just the same.

My idea too, takes a long time too! Get a iron one put it on the Gaz or fire for sure it will be way more tasty than using the microwave 🤢

Great for cooking eggs as well. cut a hole in bread using a cup. cook, the bread for 2 minutes, open up, put in the egg, 1 more minute, you have an egg in bread with runny yolk
