It's your money and your budget. As long as it makes sense to you and you are happy with your decision don't worry about it. It's called life and even when you are getting out of debt you still have to live it.

Thank you!! I appreciate that so much!! Sometimes I feel guilty about spending for things I haven't budgeted. But, this makes me feel so much better. I have to remember that this journey will be a rollercoaster!! ♥️♥️

Great check-in video. You technically already have a sinking fund of about $2,500! I would recommend keeping that in a high yield savings account, instead of in your checking account, so you’re earning a little bit of interest. Ally has great rates and allows you to divide your savings into several different buckets (I have a video on my channel explaining). So you can have a bucket just for the property taxes.

Thanks for commenting!! I keep the funds in there so I don't have to worry about due dates and overdraft fees. It's a revolving door of money. I keep all of my savings in a high yield savings account with Sofi and another with Capital one. Both have "their purpose" lol ♥️♥️

Totally opposite over here I only use my credit cards😆 It works out pretty well, I haven't paid interest in like 8 years and I normally save up enough points to get myself a nice iPhone upgrade every year. Thank You Chase!! This comment was not sponsored by Chase bank.

That's awesome!! I'm tempted to use my credit cards for the bills, at least. But, I know what got me in trouble last year, and I want to start off slow lol. Maybe I'll try towards the end of the year. For now, I've got them in my safe lol. Chase should sponsor you!! 😉

You can use your credit card and pay the amount you spend the next day. So you get your cash back, but only if you are disciplined enough to pay the purchases the next day. That way at the end of the month you owe nothing.

I'm so tempted to start using them for bills. I think I'll consider it later on in the year once my mindset changes some more lol. Thank you so much for watching and commenting ♥️♥️

🏃🏽♀️🏃🏽♀️I totally understand about the importance of good running shoes!! I cycle through mine as well. I am an ASICS GT2000 and Brooks Ghost girl. Saucony is nice too!

Running shoes are everything!! I've tried Brooks in the past, but I just haven't found a shoe that works for me. I love Saucony too! I think I'm going to get fitted for some Hoka shoes later this year and give those a try! I hear good things from my run club 😁

@@MillennialLifeAndFinances no Nike! They are the worst for running.

If i followed correctly, youll need an additiinal $500 for your mother's taxes in October. $500/7 = @$71.50.

I feel like spending on family and your health are SO justified. I’m in my 20s and just got my first bonus, planning that number into my monthly budget. Then it got taxed like 50% and I didn’t know that would happen, so my numbers look a little funny this month too lol

Thank you!! I love hearing that your focused on finances in your 20s! That's awesome! I wish I had the same mindset. We live and learn! Ugh, I hate that bonuses are taxed 😭😭. I learned that the hard way too. I hope next month is better!! ♥️♥️

@@MillennialLifeAndFinances Babies don't need as much as we're told they need. That said, this is not your baby, you carry a heavy debt load, and it is not your responsibility to outfit this baby.
@MillennialLifeAndFinances7 ай бұрын
@@terryhenderson424 whoa. No one said it was my responsibility to outfit this baby. I did it to celebrate this blessing with my family, and I did it out of the kindness of my heart. I make more than the minimum payments on all of my debts. I have food the fridge and my pup is taken care of. I see nothing wrong with gifting, especially when I have the money to do so. I'm sorry that you feel this way.
