Lovely! Of course, I started singing “Scarborough Fair”, once you’d mentioned it... lol.

Isn't it pretty? I just love it. How are your Jewels of Opar growing? Two of your ground cherries are doing well, though the strawberry spinach is just "sitting there" barely surviving.

Lol Magic bus! How many younguns will know what we know! Love it, beautiful garden, such a joy! Ya zinnias, I love them and have original heirloom seeds from 1945 victory garden I save every year!

Isn't that name hilarious! I had to buy them. As much as I love Roses, I believe Zinnias are my favorites. I was going to say why, but I think you understand.

Very Beautiful Garden. Why do you cut your Iris down after blooming and continue to cut back. Jess from Roots and Refuge sent me to your Channel. God Bless and Peace Be With You 🙏❣️☮️

I don't usually cut my Iris down, but I'm getting ready to dig it up and move it somewhere else on my property and cutting it back makes it easier to see where to dig. Also, cutting the leaves back gave the watermelon time to grow without being shaded by the tall Iris.

If you mean the flowers I said were going to have to wait for another video? No, they're not even in the same plant family. They really do resemble each other, though.

Howdy, Gramma Rose! BEAUTIFUL garden and some really happy bumble bees. Busy, busy, busy, bees. I love Zinnia. So many varieties, and so many colors. Sometimes even on the same plant! How are you watering the herb garden? Do you have a watering system or just water it yourself with a can or hose? God bless you and have a great day!
@GrammaRosesHomestead4 жыл бұрын
I love Zinnia too, not just for the beautiful, colorful flowers, but for the butterflies they attract! I have soaker hoses in my fenced garden where I'm growing tomatoes this year, but I just water my herb garden with a hose. Eventually, I'd like to have a drip irrigation system, but that's for the future. I'm afraid it would be too complicated for my weird garden layout.

Hi Grandma Rose. I love your garden! Beautiful! May I ask the name of the ball shaped orange flowers? They are so cute and I’m a sucker for small flowers.
@GrammaRosesHomestead2 жыл бұрын
Hi Loan, the species name of that is Emilia, common name Tassel Flower. It's not common, but not hard to find online. If you google it, you'll find a red species too.

I find myself conversing back with you sometimes and then remember, oh yeah this is a video and you can’t hear me! I love the pink and orange zinnias. Do you sell seeds? I would love to buy some.
@GrammaRosesHomestead4 жыл бұрын
No, I don't have any of these seeds. You'll have to go to Wild Garden Seed to buy these. That's the only place I've ever seen them. www.wildgardenseed.com/product_info.php?cPath=93_97&products_id=647
