Seth did so well with the avocado. It's quite a special moment trying food for the first time and like you said it's all about practicing and trying different flavours and textures in food. It's like an adult trying a new cuisine for the first time.

So excited for your gardening efforts! With a family the size of yours, you will really use it. I only had 5 kids but I share-cropped with older folks in my town. I paid their water bill in exchange for being able to garden in their unused yards. I gave them all the fresh vegetables they wanted and my kids got several surrogate grandparents. A real win, win!

Seth is a doll. I introduced veggies to my kids around the same age as Seth. Once they tasted food, they were off and running....I still nursed them in between but after awhile they got disinterested and so they weaned themselves off. Kind of made me sad but it was great seeing them progress. Blessings to you guys.

Sarah I am so glad that y’all have started a garden. Don’t know if you are aware but if you harvest the large leaves on your greens ( kale, lettuce, collards) you can increase their production. Seth definitely loved biting that spoon and those eyes are to die for.

Hi Sarah, I've been watching your channel for a couple of years and I love your family. Because of covid-19, I decided to do a larger grocery shop for myself than I usually would, to minimize unnecessary public outings. (Usually I go to the shop twice a week). I have found so many benefits of this. 1. Healthier! 2. Inspired by abundance of ingredients. 3. Enjoying the challenges when I get low on ingredients. 4. Ability to cook small easy meals during the week, or meal prep more labour intense meals on the weekends. 5. Eating out less. 6. Convenience. 7. Saving money. I have missed my trips to the grocery store, but that's just something we have all had to adjust to. I must say, having lots of different vegetables and fruits available has made a huge difference by inspiring me in what I want to cook. I am also doing some vegetarian meals too. Last night I sauteed a large sliced mushroom and had that in a toasted sandwich with swiss cheese. It was delightful with some baby cucumbers and an poached egg. Thanks for inspiring and encouraging positivity in the world. I am single and live alone, so I never considered I would ever shop once a month! Your videos has made the transition easier.
