You're back! I hear ya, Jordan I just got out of a reading slump but unfortunately the Fantasy series slump is still going *strong*, so I made the decision to DNF all the Fantasy series I wasn't caught up on and start fresh sometime later. Hell yeah The Road!!! My favourite books of the year have been Guy Gavriel Kay's Under Heaven, and Cormac McCarthy's No Country for Old Men and Blood Meridian. I didn't like either as much as The Road though but ive nostalgia for that one. I haven't watched Witcher since Season 1, I've become horrendous for not keeping up with shows even my favourites like Doctor Who plus Netflix got so trigger happy to cancel shows I entered a phase where I refused to something on there unless it was done.

I recently DNFd under Heaven but only because the audiobook wasn’t working for me in the headspace I was in. Definitely gonna come back to it! I’m also SO bad at watching TV. I’m always behind, even on my favorite shows lol

Take whatever breaks you need! Hopefully you can get out of the reading slump soon. I also scheduled the first quarter of the year with reading and burnt out, but allowing myself to mood read has helped a lot

My fave book so far this year was the Justice of Kings (and, man, is it good) until recently. At the end of June, I read the Lies of Locke Lamora, and I immediately wanted to reread it, so that's my favorite book of the year so far!

I really enjoyed Frugal Wizard! I liked the strange combo of a usual Sando feeling book with corporate satirical sci-fi. Love seeing some hype for the Ember Blade since I have it waiting patiently on the shelf. Good luck with the rest of Malazan!
