Love you two! My advice for the doggie owner with foul breath: if he was an adoptee, his dental health was probably neglected. Take him to the vet and have his teeth cleaned and checked for gingivitis (gum disease) and/or an infected tooth. If a human had foul breath like that, a dentist would give the same advice. Dogs are no different from us in that respect! Unless the dog is eating roadkill or poop on a daily basis, there is no reason for its breath to be foul. A vet could also prescribe over the counter doggie toothpaste that prevents/treats gum disease and helps their breath.

Jennifer - Thank you for being kind to your kitty. I had one like this. He was sick with three meds for 5-6 years… daily medications. A real commitment. He was a very loving, affectionate cat, but he bit me over the years too, was sometimes a jerk, but also very loving but so sick in his last years. At 19 1/2, his time finally came and honestly it left me feeling like you do (a bit of shock), when you lose a human. We’re talking a friend for almost 20 years… anyways, thank you again for your kindness to the kitty.

Yes, be a big girl, and be a power of example for others and the youth of our nation, all in interest of love, not trying to tell you what to do. Regarding motivational speakers, I prefer daily affirmation flip cards, or book. This allows me to apply and interpret the message how it best applies to me and my needs on that daily basis. I find that this makes me do the work, instead of someone else telling me what worked for them. I got a call about jury duty also. Sounded very legit. No foreign accents. Said I had to stay on the phone as I drove to the court house to pay a fine and that set off alarm bells. Hung up and called the real sheriffs office and asked if a certain phone number was associated with them and they confirmed it was a scam. Called scammers back and when I asked how the scam worked, how they collect money, the guy told me to go fk myself and hung up.

Crazy Childless Cat Lady here! Caller, get that stanky mutt in for a dental cleaning and then start buying breath-freshening treats. Jessica, boy cats are much more loving than girls on average (I know there are exceptions). Get your granny cat a wide, low litterbox for easier entry and exit or one that has a dip on the side. Get your old girl an electric blanket to warm her old bones, and make sure she has a perch high enough to neener-neener down at the dogs. Give her catnip. Buy the Churu push-up pops for her - it's like crack and she will pretend to love you for easily 60 seconds a day. Finally, when it's time, get yourself a mobile vet who will come to your house. I had no trouble teaching 4 dogs to stop licking faces! 2 pups, 2 grown. First husky would occasionally lick the back of my elbow after he enjoyed his dinner. Okay, as a foster for my local shelter, THERE ARE PURE BREDS THERE!! I have 2 full blood Poms from our shelter. Their breath is atrocious. However, they BOTH have issues, because their breed, and cannot be put under anesthesia to clean their teeth. I have had BOTH their back legs rebuilt, thanks luxating patellas. I also foster cats, and had a mean ass tortie for 19 years. She terrorized my house and peed on my wood floors (when she got old) that had to be replaced. First of all,I LOVE YOU GUYS! Regarding the dog with bad breath, if this guy really loves the man he lives with then he needs to love the dog enough to take it to the vet. The dog needs to be seen by a vet and evaluated for health problems that he’s exhibiting through the bad breath, like gum disease, rotting teeth or abscess and a variety of other issues related to gut health. For sure someone needs to get the dog’s teeth cleaned. Dogs are mammals, they have bad breath for the same reason humans do there’s bacteria growing in their mouth and the “bad breath” is the gas & shit secreted by the bacteria. I mean seriously, people need to grow a spine! I know that the people who love me aren’t afraid to be honest with me. So what if I get pissed off, the intervention could save my life or my dogs. True love tells the truth!
