Good to see Shantanu finally mentioning lower or middle class debate and acknowledging his childhood was different. Insurance dekho founder is an amazing person but don't know why he was again and again mentioning himself as lower middle class, which clearly he was not, bro you have amazing achievements you don't need additional cover ups.

I am also from Begusarai, its really great to see someone from this part doing something great. But I don't known how much an aggregator can solve insurnace problem in India to me it seems that it is a product problem and how it is designed as a whole that you can not truly depend on it in INDIA because whole business is incentivised on rejecting claim no matter how you have read the fine print. Although IRDA has done good job putting out stats, but it is lacking on the regulatory & penalization part.

I have heard so many entrepreneurs come here and just say that it’s India’s decade so you can do whatever and succeed, but obviously that is so flawed. I would really appreciate someone scratching and drilling further deep into how to spot a good opportunity and then make a economically viable business around it. At least some sort of framework to think about it. I have been a huge fan of the show from the get go but honestly if Shantanu is honest about his mission with this podcast, maybe it shouldn’t just be about “inspiring” someone to take that first step, but also helping them take that step in a way that it lands well.

Amazing video as always, amazing food for thought, and lot more. Just one small complain I have for this video not sure if edit team looks it or not. I dont get it why there are so many cuts that too which are very very noticibile and in between the conversation , initialy i thought it might be becuase there could be something which might not be aired or to shorten it but I dont think so since there have been 2hour + episodes earlier so not sure

Most these podcasts are just express generic ideas instead of really motivating and guiding exactly how to become and entrepreneur. The strategy, funding and logistics and execution of those logistics. The reality is without any financial and other clout and access to such network, no individual can become entrepreneur..it's the hard fact. Rather these talks make popularise and do marking tricks and Pr for these people.

Not satisfied with the editing of the video in start, most of the conversations are cut in between and it skips to literally the next thing. It’ll be helpful if you cut it after the whole thing or just don’t take it at all because then it leaves a certain curiosity about what was he about to say.

This person looks so fake. All the sweet talking appears a conscious public image decision. Man! I come from rural Bihar and must say that if your father was a CA in 80's or 90's, you were not a middle class. Your Grandfather owned Jewellery shop. Don't compare that era with today's financial standards. Your family were a Rick class back then. You even dragged Shantanu as a Middle class person. His father was a CEO and then a successful entrepreneur. If you guys are middle class then rest of the people are poor class.

Shantanu was right when he asked that Insurance is a complex product and many a time it was sold as mis selling without explaining conditions and exclusions and many 90% of the time the sales person himself does not have the complete knowledge of it - For some reason I couldn't believe the story Ankit told about his father that made him get into this business - He should have prepared more honest answer - Well I do know and understand my opinion wouldn't matter however Any Insurance guy would be miss fit in in the league of guests TBS has had - The Endowment, Money Back or Ulip kind of products are by nature designed to fool people as very seldom people understand that Insurance is for some of your unforseen incidents and Investment is to create wealth - Beside the whole product is based on 'Fear' as an emotion - Group insurance gets settled easily however individual does not - Anyway I am not discounting that i couldn't have learnt something from this episode still couldn't listen or Watch more than 15.31 min as couldn't find Ankit reasonably honest, may be an early conclusion by me however you can't discard my opinion completely

Not sure why but I found Ankit a little fake. Shantanu you are doing a fab job but as a viewer I also want you to ask some tough questions like why 85% of insurance grievance is from these online aggregate and banks as per IRDAI. What is the claim rejection ratio of the policy underwritten by insurance dekho. This number will suprise you

The statement "Humne kiya as company" where Mr. CEO is talking about how he looks and treat his employees as family sounds like a scripted statement. His management who runs the B2C insurance segment is the most pathetic and abusive one (You can check with the employees who are working there and i was also one of them). I don't know why these people come with their fake employee friendly stories in these shows.
