What a great result Jim. I have to say that considering I watch most Video's of all the greats this one is very close to the top if not the top. What struck me most is the calm and calculating way you went about your business all throughout the match. I must admit this video has given me time to think how I fish my own matches. Fantastic Jim. Hi mate. Still using Sphere Beast hooks at minute. But almost ran out. I use hair rigged band. 👍

What hook length do you use on the bomb method

12" hooklength on the bomb mate. I used 0.20 to a 13 hook. On method I'd go with an 0.18 to a 14 hook 4" long

whats so good about messingham, they weigh you in dont need many nets as its 100lb per net and the fish never really leave the water, and its all done quickly and efficiently. So can see why you fish there and video does the fishery justice
