Wow, great advice! I found it difficult to compliment my husband. One thing that is helping a lot is to think about something good about him. It can be anything I appreciate, even if it is a small or seemingly unimportant thing. And I think about it for several minutes, for as many sessions as it takes before I get bored with it. Then I think about another good thing about him. I can't just spend 5 seconds on it. I take many minutes to think about it per session. I think of more and more good things about him. Before, it felt very unnatural to tell him I noticed good things about him because I didn't think like that. Now that I am thinking that way, I am more appreciative of him, so complimenting him doesnt feel disingenuous. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

I haven't been kissed in over 8 years, she simply only focuses on what I need to do, need to do better and what I have done wrong in the past - she is closed out and closed off even inside of herself. will not seek individual therapy to get over whatever her anxiety and walled off emotional issues are. I have given up
