Thanks ! Your videos are very helpful. I have a question about oil behind the outer flywheel cover. Just putting my 800 back in the bike and I had some oil dripping from the crank sensor hole when I tipped the motor back to install. I put oil in the crankcase on the bench to prime the oil pump. All seals were replaced. Is that going to be a problem

Hey Tyson, I want to say thank you for replying to me and telling me what I asked about the engine on the players ranger 800 XP I’m doing a complete teardown I think I don’t know until I get to the crank But the question you asked about a 12 point half inch impact socket yes sir I found one! Go to Harbor freight they have a whole roll of them. I bought me a set put out by Pittsburgh I think but got it at Harbor freight. Just letting you know so it makes your job go faster . Tyson I just took apart my 2012 Polaris rzr 800 s engine because of broken lower crankcase due to it falling off of jackstands. Is there any tips that you can tell me to watch out for when putting this engine back together. My main concern is making sure I have oil pressure when I start for the first time! 😅

Does this engine have press in cam bearings ? Working on one and don’t look like the ere are any cam bearings

Ima find this socket for you my friend. If I can't find one in a impact socket then multiple non impact 12 points might be the only other option. Use them till you destroy them.

Question: AT 6:51 in the video you show the cylinder head cover. What is the square piece with two bolts that sits on top? I just bought a 2012 Polaris Ranger 800 and it looks like there is a small leak there. I figure I just need a new one of whatever that is. Can you assist?

I am in the process of buying a Polaris, is the Bobcat engine a good idea?, or do you recommend something else, I just want to be sure I have a good machine. thank you

I haven't had much experience with the Bobcat engines. I can tell you the Polaris's are easy to work on and parts are available. I don't know that that is true about the bobcat machine. I’m having head gasket issues after full rebuild pretty sure there oil in the intake and smoke coming out the hose on the valve cover any advice

Did you resolve this? I am only seeing 100psi on both cylinders, oil in the intake. I've got fuel, I've got spark on both plugs, only fires once in a while.
