Glad I'm not the only one who still finds a way to bring Turok 2 into casual conversation out of left field.

In Assassin's Creed II, the last person you fight in the story is the pope. That alone makes it worth playing.

To answer your question Brad, this is a good adaption in a sence that it's set in the games universe and instead of following the main character from like past five games, they decide to introduce a different character who's in the universe. So, I'd say it works better than say something like Silent Hill where they kinda stuffed like four games into one.

I love this game series. So I was standing in the movie theater hallway after watching Arrival, I think. I was staring at the cardboard advertisement for the Assassin's Creed movie and asking myself out loud, "Am I obligated?"

The trailers killed it for me. The Warcraft trailers made me want to watch the movie. The trailers for this one-emphasizing the boring framing device, absolutely nothing about the actual historical plot of the game, and nothing suggesting WHERE in history it took place just KILLED my hope.

Kinda wish Jeremy Irons didn't take this very seriously, seeing him revive his character in Dungeons & Dragons would be fun

Have there been ANY good video game movies? Like, absolutely any?

I knew this movie would be nothing but a substanceless action fest the moment I saw that pg-13 rating.

Brad and his friends are basically the only reviewers I trust. We have the same taste of 'That was Fun' even if the movie wasn't very good. "Frankenstein" from last year was awesome! So I'll probably end up seeing this.

Brad's pronunciation of Marion Cotillard is driving me up a wall lol

How can you discuss the (excellent, but flawed) Turok 2, and it's weapon set, without bringing up the cerebral bore? The weapon that fires out a small drone which tracks brainwaves, locks on, attaches to the enemies skull,

You know, it's really saying something when The Angry Birds Movie is by far the best video game movie of this year at least. I know some of you are gonna disagree, but by far, IMO, Angry Birds was the only one that was actually worth one watching as far as this year goes. Ratchet & Clank, Warcraft and This sadly didn't do justice as we hoped.

I gotta say, I agree with Brad on this movie. I had a lot of fun watching this movie, but then again I was watching it with friends who have all played the Assassin's Creed games.

Haven't watched the review yet, I fully expect this film to be terrible. The only question is: is it funny terrible or "dear God why am I watching this?" terrible?

I might give it a watch once it shows up online.

The first game does have more buildup to finding out who the bad guys are, which is one of the few real criticisms I have for the movie.
