The ground loop is life. That additional feature is nice so you don't have to buy another item. Kuddos for listening to the people on that. I had to buy a grounder for my Switch. I'll still be getting the pro so I don't need an additional thing plugged in.

Because of this, I just convinced my buddies to get on discord and I just use discord via my PC. That way I can record gameplay and chat without problems.

This works with the 4K60 Pro MK.2 you just plug the Chat Link into the line in of your desktop's motherboard.

I still have my chat link somewhere as I used it on my Xbox One few years back to capture Party Chat using two Xbox Controllers in copilot. and have a ground loop isolator on it .. so honestly unless this thing isn't no more then ten dollars more makes more sense to get the old chat link if you can find it and a separate ground loop isolator as can get alot of them for under $10 on amazon

​@@eddy8959 just put two controllers in co-pilot on Xbox and the second controller use wired on the xbox and then get a chat link and then plug it into the Blue line in on the PC you are streaming from and then ya should be able to capture the Line in on OBS.. also best use case is to NOT have game audio mixed in on your headset as chat link does not remove it

Mate I’ve been asking this so many times I’ve given up. I’m a 17 year podcaster, 5 year streamer. And STILL I’m waiting for the definitive Elgato walkthrough for there equipment on twitch, console and obs I’ve actually given up to the point now I don’t think there ever going to make a video. Also the sheer fact that Xmas 2021, were still asking audio/chat questions speaks volumes. So please Elgato can you make a special set up video chat for console users that stream using obs/ twitch, and need party chat to work for everyone to hear.👍

You can use the regular chat link and charge ur controller at the same time with no noise just charge ur controller from an outlet by using a phone charger, not from the ps4 or 5

Chat Link Pro can absolutely work with Xbox - but is mostly unnecessary - as Xbox allows you to output party chat audio and game audio over HDMI while using headsets. You'd want Chat Link Pro if you want to capture in game chat on Xbox, and not just party chat.

To record your voice, you’ll need a separate microphone. Chat Link Pro records in-game voice and gameplay audio-only like Chat Link, but with a switchable line isolator to prevent "buzzing" during recordings.

Hallo, ich habe hd60s+ und ps5. dazu extra Chat link pro gekauft heute. Das ton von PS5 kommt ohne Problem aber meine mikrofon leider ohne ton. Beim spiel Warzone zeigt das ich rede aber auf dem Laptop kein ton. und beim Streaming auch kein TON. direkt mit Captur IN verbunden Laptop hat kein IN nur Kopfhörer. Steelseries arctis pro wireless

Am I correct to assume, that the Chat Link Pro only splits the audio from the console to the headset and PC/Mac. The Microphone from the Headset is fed *only* to the console, not to the PC/Mac. Correct?

This is my experience with Chat Link Pro. My streams feature my Warzone party chat (or PS Party chat), but my mic is not included even though my squad can hear me. The only fix is using a USB mic directly connected to the PS5.

Hi my name is William & I have a issue with the chat link pro, I’m trying to capture gameplay and game audio from my Nintendo switch and the gameplay is fine but when I try to capture game audio I get static noise and can only hear my voice & the game audio is static I’ve tried everything and cannot get it to go away. The game audio only picks up static when I use my chat link pro to my Nintendo switch and I’ve tried plugging it in my computer and I still get static can anyone help me?

Yes, you can use a 3.5mm stereo Y splitter and connect it to the Chat Link Pro headphone port. Then connect your headsets to the Y splitter. Please keep in mind that splitting the analog connection lowers the overall volume since the controller is now powering two headsets.

Elagto captures only captures what your device is outputting so you have to go into your sound settings on your console and turn up chat volume

What about phone gamers, specifically iPhone users without a headset port. When I used to stream Pubg Mobile I wanted to use my elgato capture card but couldn’t due to the missing port. I had to use the headphone adapter with charge and send my signal to obs. Crashed a lot and always had issues.
