I just don't care what Marvel or Star Wars does any more. Disney has ruined them with their bad story telling and messaging. I'll never watch another movie or show from either franchise. Disney will never see another dime from me or a minute of my time.

Where was and is the sympathy for North Carolin!? They are still trying to rebuild after the hurricanes and now they have to deal with winter ontop of it all. Classism seems to be alive and well in Tinseltown

I live 20 minutes south of Eaton and even I don't see anything. There was smoke in the distance, and ash in the air and a smell of burning for a few days. But it's been clear past few days.

Punisher is going to be framed for killing cops. It's not going to be him according to the rumours. Kingpin's agenda is to get rid of vigilantes in New York ( including Spider-Man ) basically anyone who poses a threat to him or will get in the way, which happened in the comics ( no Trump allegory ). Daredevil looks optimistic, but I mean, if this fails for me, that's it for Marvel.

Tom's description of the Punisher sounds like Dexter. Frank kills criminals before the justice system even gets to them. Frank was also never a cop.

This Scribe guy is flaming the Punisher like a douche, and doesn't even recall or know what happened. He was not shot while deployed, he was shot alongside his family when he came back at a park, which was a setup. Regarding the bullet thing, that exact same point was addressed at the court scene, when they try to use the bullet injury as argument to appeal Frank's case, the Punisher himself calls it's bs, and he was well aware of what he was doing, it's even the best part of the scene he bursts out, and the guards have to take him away.

Paul: "I don't care about Punisher." Paul, you're Canadian, we don't care what you think. If it were up to you, Frank Castle would sit in a café talking about his feelings for the entire run.

@@kwad8 What, you don't like those 1920s Shecky Greene vaudevillian style jokes that get blown into a conversation with all the finesse of a bull in heat? I know -I- can't get enough of that Al Jolson style humor mixed with a Canadian sense of politics. And really, who needs pop culture knowledge when you repeat yourself five times at a clip? Good lord.

the moral points you say about Punisher is why he made an excellent villain and not the stupid "anti-hero"/hero BS that Marvel thrust upon him in the 80s, because since the 60s Marvel was too afraid of having a villain be popular enough.

I might be wrong, but I don't think there's ever been a story in the Punisher comics where he shoots an undercover cop. That was a thread in the Stevenson movie.

I guess, in a way, we pay taxes so as to not go to jail, but in Norway, you get so much more for your taxes than in America, and I think that's what Einherjar is forgetting. The state supposedly needs its people to pay back some so it can function, and to ensure at least they laymen do so - because the richies can afford lawyers who help find loopholes so they DON'T need to pay tax - they write tax into law and enforce it with jailtime. With a global economy, I feel like there are many other sources of cash influx than just one's own citizens that a well-off state could do with lowering its tax rate some, though. The issue is, when people STEAL from the state, like these richies with their tax lawyers or ones that move outside the country to avoid pay taxes, the state and its people suffer. Maybe not soon, but they will, and maybe not economically but by new laws being added to stricten(?) the rules for everyone. What I don't understand, is why the - what would be - tax portion of my pay isn't just witheld from me at pay. Instead, I need to pay it back in. I heard the state gets more money by this method, somehow, so I guess that's why.

Thank you for showing your envy, hatred, and resentment. If anyone dares to make a penny more than you, you hate them. Period. And Norway? They are going nowhere. Without the lake of oil they sit on, they would be screwed.
