@@Average_Middle_Aged_American It’s really nice. I first heard of Mido just last year when my doctor and I were speaking of watches. He had a TV Big Date on. Further research into the company I came across Teddy Balldassare’s review of this watch and had to get it. Was about to get at nordstrom for $790, then saw it on Jomashop for $639. Got it in without issue and can’t complain. Really nice time piece.

Gotta say i really like this one a lot. I could have seen me going online before i knew much about watches and still have this stand out to me. The little touches like the lugs and the degradé dial are very elegant. I like this brand ever since they released that crazy multi colored diver LE last year. I kinda wish I had bought as you never see them being re-sold. I thought it looked great on all the straps. gotta get me a Veblenist soon! Great review Xavier ( PS I gave you a thumbs up on the last one, but it really wasn't my "thing" ) keep em coming friend.

Agreed there’s a lot to like about mido but they don’t get talked about enough. This one in particular has a lot of cool elements especially how nice the dial looked. You definitely have to get a veblenist. They are super good for variety, king leather craft maybe a little better for that quality aspect. Always appreciate you Michael 🙏🏻

Very pretty watch, although it's so uniquely positioned between sporty and dressy design that it might not be so versatile after all: a bit dressy for casual outfit, a bit sporty for dress - at least with the brown factory strap. Talking about straps, in my personal opinion most of the straps tried in this video were very off (pink, white, vintage one). I think the best matches for a blue dial are brown and black. I would love to see this watch with an elegant black strap, and also with a steel bracelet for comparison.

That blue band is the winner, but definitely looks big on your wrist for a “dress” watch.

I don’t think a pulsometer adds too much more to the price since it’s just extra printing on the dial rather than having to make the movement anymore complicated. It would be a very cool watch without it as well but I don’t mind it being there.

Mido wouldn't go for an acrylic crystal. It's s standard in Swiss made mechanical watches to apply a sapphire crystal. It's literally a market standard these days
