Unfortunately pedos don't usually do any real time. For some reason these kind of crimes don't have punishments that fit the crime. People are in prison for cannabis much longer than most pedos get. It makes one wonder if maybe certain powerful people within the government and the wealthy people that fund them have skeletons that they want light punishment for if they ever get caught if you ask me. My best friend was kidnapped by a “boy” who said he was 21. She was 15 or 16. The FBI told me after I picked him out of a mug shot book, he was 33, and was a very, very bad man. On the FBI’s most wanted. He took her out of State, and pimped her out till she was rescued 3 yrs later. She’d been pistol whipped and beaten often very badly. That was 1978. This is what I tell my patients. I work in child and adolescent mental health, and so many of my kiddos have been targeted by predators because they make social media posts asking for someone to pick them up after an argument with mom. One girl even sent pictures of her 2 year old sibling to a predator, thinking he was just really good with kids, until the FBI called mom and told her what happened. That guy already had a case being built by the FBI, and this girl almost got picked up by him, because of stupid decisions from a naïve 13 year old.

Mind you we were neighbors which became family friends so my parents knew everything. We literally could walk into each other's houses and it was fine. I know it is very different from this situation but kids are able to be friends with adults. I think the parents also need to be friends with the adult though just to be clear.
