I hope she doesn’t become Jaded by this line of work. There are so many intense ways that things can draw down on our souls energy after a certain amount of time. More than that, I hope she finds ways to protect her spirit while doing the work she does. Staying out of drama with other officers as well would be wise too. Cops nowadays are gross and toxic on a lot of levels.

That is my daughter! 99% of these comments are great, very supportive of LE. She is a warrior. Tough as hell! Built like a rock! Policing is not a about killing or beating people on the street. Its about community relations and being professional at all times. There are bad people in every profession!Unfortunately media does not report 99% of great things officers do. Its about protecting the community and being a role model. Kailee is a fair honest individual. Stronger than some of the guys she works with. She will back up her male colleagues in a second. Thank you again for the 99.9% of supportive comments! There are many great Americans that want to keep America safe and the ones that comment with threats toward police. Positive comments . Police have a tough job. keyboard warriors, cowards who do not understand, lack mental capacity , and have zero patriotism to keep America safe! Police, soldiers, nurses, firemen, drs. Teachers and social workers put their lives on the line to protect all Americans!

What a load of BS..... everyone knows cops don't help themselves accountable. Good cops are weeded out..... how's your daughter ever turned in another officer for bad behavior or anything worse? Very simple the cop who stands around and watch other cops do bad things is not a good cop. Especially Florida Ron DeSantis would give the cops even more power. The rare Bad Apple Theory is long gone I dare anybody to take a look on KZbin at the thousands of egregious videos just for Florida police officers I think that this is not a huge problem......... most people don't realize until they are harmed in some way by a dirty cop.. that's why it doesn't get the attention it needs

@sitdowndogbreath ...then there's the thing where responding officers are not the detectives who should investigate. It's a huge disconnect. There's just reports and data. The medicexaminer ( who only later does the autopsy) has two things that they state. " cause of death. And manner of death." Cause of death is the actual cause, such as, drowning, overdose, or asphyxiation. Manner of death could be : homicide or accidental. The medical examer usually leaves the latter as " manner of death undetermined." After that the investigation should follow up, but they are too over burdened with suspicious cases, that there is usually no investigation or conclusions. Under that umbrella of manner of death, evidence such as bruises, ropes, and threats made, may put the death into the category of " suspicious ". It's still up to the county to deem it worthy of investigation. 😢

Signing up for it, volunteering for this job, or at least sticking with it after a short period in training is basically offering your soul for sacrifice. These people steal rights. They will trample and arrest and even X a person that audits first amendments. While on camera. They can’t get it. There is a mental block that refutes the ability for positive human interaction on the streets. Even when their sarge tells them they are in the wrong, they still have to give directives lmao. I'm a first responder as well. It frustrates me when I hear my co-workers say that they hate people. It is refreshing to hear people like you say that you care about others. I am the same way, and I signed up because I love people and want to help.
@HE-162
@HE-162 2 ай бұрын
When you hear them say they hate people, do you report it to IA or the appropriate leadership? Officers saying things like that are dangerous, and shouldn’t be kept on the force. Hearing that and not ensuring it gets addressed appropriately makes one an accomplice to potential injustice and police violence. Guilty by association is what silence means, while at the same time the police tell the public “if you see something, say something”. Officers who say they hate people have no business being on the force, they are dangerous, and officers who stay silent when they see problems with other officers are equally culpable and accountable for the action of their fellow officers…even if they’re too cowardly to cross the thin blue line.
@SGabi205
@SGabi205 2 ай бұрын
@HE-162 When I mentioned that I'm a first responder, I was referring to the fact that I'm an EMT. On numerous occasions, I have overheard my EMT partners state that they hate people. Have I done anything about it? Yes, I have. I'm mysteriously being moved to the dispatch department. Most police officers on scene treat people better than the EMT or Paramedic does in the back of their rig. Are there bad police officers out there? Sure. Have I encountered any? No. The officers on scene have treated me with more respect than my own EMT/Paramedic partners. I don't care if they are burnt out from the job. If you want to work on an ambulance, you need to love people and show compassion to your patients. Cops can be firm at times, but I have not witnessed any be cruel to the subjects on scene.

Bro 8 years ago I was leaving Boston to go to fl for vacation. With my wife and my 3 kids and my youngest was only around 6 at the time and she is autistic and would get sick very very bad in the cold. It was around 11:30pm on December 30th and I went by two cops in the Median, I was going 68-70 on 95 south while the speed limit was 70. One of the cops got behind me and followed me for about 15 mins while my mini van was on cruise control at that same exact speed. He finally pulls me over and first words out his mouth was where is the 10K Bag of drugs and Gun. I said officer I don’t have any of those. Long story short he persisted I did and harassed me and my family for 20 mins. Then he asked to search my car and I told him my 3 kids are sleeping and my youngest is autistic and will 100% get sick bad if she has to sit outside in the 50 degree weather. He said if I don’t allow him he has a K-9 cop right down the road and will have him come over. I said do what you have to do my kids ain’t getting out this car. So the k-9 came they circled it around my car the dog didn’t jump scratch nothing literally nothing so the cop throws his little tennis ball at the back gate of my car and the dog jump up to grab ball and cop said owe we got a hit! I’m standing there for over 20 mins outside watching everything and dog did not hit so then cop takes all 4 suitcases out and ask me what one is mine and I told him it’s the biggest one so he lines all 4 suitcases in a line and has the dog circle around each one and dog again does nothing. Cop lies and said the dog hit on my suitcase and searches it then search’s all of them. Now it’s new years and I’m sitting outside freezing and cop asked again to take my kids out and search can I take him again that ain’t happening. To the cops surprise they didn’t find nothing and after all that he said, I pulled you over because your driving on the worst highway for drug trafficking and a week ago we pulled over a man in a van just like this with a fake family and he had a lot of drugs. Wasn’t speeding all lights work perfectly driving and pulled over for nothing. Cop didn’t even say sorry or anything. Traffic stop was over a hour! Fukk most of these cops they love to harass you and they are so worried about us breaking the law they do it themselves every single day. They will step all over your rights without any consequences and care.

I am so grateful that officers like this exist, you’re awesome dude. You make me feel hopeful for society, and my recent run ins the last year with wellness checks and what not, I am realizing that being hateful or prejudice towards any group of people, including law enforcement, is a way to sully faith in society for your own personal self and I am so appreciative for everything Mr. Laita does for the KZbin community, the mental health community, America in general, society and beyond. We all are just people. And Mark humanizes the entire world one person at a time. I only hope I get to shake your hand one day Mark, you really help me progressively make better choices and work towards doing something great for those I am lucky enough to and hope to even just inspire a percent of a percent of a percent of the hope you have given me. You are a person in a consistent hero arc and I pray you realize how much the Earth needs people like you and that you make such a incredible difference. You are the best big homie! Bless you. And all those that you let speak their truth. The karmic cycle existent currently makes me question relativity’s permanence in such an awe inspiring way, and we are fortunate. Thank you!!!!

A lot of police officers are generalizing black people. Hmm. Police department is just another boys club where they cover each other’s asses for their own benefit. A buddy of mine was an MP for two decades; he refused to work for civilian police departments once he got out due to how corrupt they are. Not that the MP’s were that much better, however.

My ex was a cop in a very large city. She was also a SWAT officer. After a person does that job long enough there’s a distrust of everyone that develops. It makes keeping friends difficult and it plays hell on the marriage. I’ve known a few cops who only date and/or marry other cops. They deal with people who are in a crisis and highly emotional. They sometimes bring that home with them or they go to a bar and drink until they forget about the tragedies and assholes they’ve dealt with that day.

I like watching channels with US police bodycams videos. These guys are very professional, most of them. It is clear that they were taught comprehensively - what to do, how to speak, how to react, how to interact in a team. Sometimes they are not perfect, but compared to police in other countries they are really good. And they have great attitude to people. This is why I am interested to listen to this girl.

I'm a former bureaucrat....best friends are all in law enforcement....LAPD, Sheriff, FBI. The law enforcement environment is not what her dad, grandpa and great-grandpa saw...I hope she's aware of that. There is no longer the respect towards cops or any first responder. BE CAREFUL....DON'T EVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN, NO MATTER THE CALL. The worst usually happens at the least expectant call. Be very, very careful with traffic stops and domestic violence calls.

Respect toward officers is earned, not granted. The cops did it to themselves, and it’s up to the cops to correct their behavior if they want to earn back the respect of the public. Unfortunately that takes humility and accountability, something officers whose entire job is exercising absolute authority and ego and control simply do not possess. It’s their own fault that the public doesn’t respect them, they earned the hatred they receive. But it’s not all first responders, cops need not drag down the good guys with them. Firefighters and paramedics are beloved by the public because they actually help people, and they do so selflessly at risk to themselves. Ain’t no songs called “F*** the Firefighters”. When a firefighter shows up on the scene, they symbolize rescue and protection and help. They don’t pose a threat to people’s freedom, safety, and life. Quite the opposite actually, as a firefighter showing up often is the reason someone’s life or home is saved. Firefighters are societies heroes, police are the boot on our necks.
