your laundry room is less of a room, more like a museum :)

I wish I had purchased the Miele over the big-ass Maytag. I like the auto-reverse action of the dryer and NO paddles. It would likely eliminate the corkscrew on my fitted sheets.

@johnny2970 Thanks - finally got most of it finished, just have some baseboard trim to install. It's been 2 years in the making :)

I've come up with 6.3KG from online conversions. It's 2.32 Cu Ft, which is about 6.3 KG.

Id like to ask, with the Miele dryer, how long does it take to fully dry for a full load? Whats the power consumption (wattage) for the dryer and washing machine?

Why doesn’t the dryer have a glass door if the washer has a glass door?

Does the door on the Miele W3033 lock when you start the washer?
@MieleTouchtronic3 жыл бұрын
The door release is electronic so as soon as you press start, the door won’t open unless either the cycle is finished or if you cancel.

What did you use as a stand for your washer and dryer and where did you get it from? It looks good. Miele stands are $600, ouch!

How long was the dryer cycle?
@MieleTouchtronic3 жыл бұрын
I don’t remember but most full load cycles are around an hour. The Miele does not use very hot heat like almost every other American dryer even on some of the lowest settings, they are all way too hot in my opinion. Dry cycles are a little longer as a result.

This probably seems like a really strange request. . Umm, could you possibly put a video of your dryer, with loop? Why?. Well that's a longer story.. bizarre one indeed. I'd be happy to tell you why, if you answer my comment :P BTW, awesome laundry room. Looks all cousy and snug x3

I have the same setup except my washer died almost 2 years ago now. The dryer is still going. Hi my name is Steve. I also had a Miele with the same noise and I'm sorry to say but this is a part Miele put inside the suds container holding the wash drum made to fail in about 8 years. It is the back plate of the wash drum it has 3 arms for the 3 bolts in the face of the wash drum. This part is made of cast white metal (cheap crap metal) with a steel shaft in the center to drive the wash drum. One of the arms have crack and shifted soon it will brake off all the way. You can not buy this part I tryed. Miele will sell a new suds container with a new wash drum and the part i speak of for about 1,500.00 and shipping. that is if you are a do it your selfer. If you add the cost of a repair man maybe 1,600.00 more. so you see you won't be fixing this maching. Miele sold you and me somthing that cost 3 times more than the other brands but will last no longer sorry Steve. P.S. The old W433 had Cast Iron arms much stronger.

STEVE GOODWIN I have a Miele washing machine with that same "shit" drum spider and it's still going strong after 13 years. You just need to wash on high temperatures (75-95 degrees Celsius) every 2 weeks. Every washing machine manufacturer uses aluminium in their drum spiders now.
