Kiyo's behavior is really interesting, being separated from Nene really triggered a fear of isolation. This is one of the VERY few cases where the silverback and his teenage son coexist semi peacefully and actually have a close relationship, you do not see males playing with one another unless it's a bachelor group with no females around and yet here it happens quite often

I love them all soooo...much!! I noticed that too, Kiyo is extremely worried, as they all were of isolation since Nene has been. I noticed the troop for weeks stayed very, very close. I noticed it alot with Annie at first. She's calmed some, yet AI is still missing Her Mom, Nene's companionship. I hope that Nene will be returning soon. The troop is doing wonderful as Shabani is an amazing troop leader and Dad!! ❤🦍❤🦍❤🦍❤🦍❤🦍❤ Thank You Japanese Zoo for all You do!! 😊

Kiyo is needing the guidance and protection of his father. God for bid Nene doesn’t recover. Kiyo will have a hard time adjusting not having his mother nearby. Shabain has taken the role of his protector - father and mother. Kiyo is not about to let Shabain abandon him. I am sure that Shabain would like some quiet time alone.

Annie is missing Nene alot too!! It is almost as if she knows she needs to be more gentle with Nene now. They're very keen and I notice Annie seems sad. 😢❤ The first few weeks Annie was staying very, very close to the other 3 after Nene was isolated. Almost as if they fear that they will lose another member of the troop. I found this very moving and it touched my heart. ❤❤❤❤❤

He is learning alot from Shabani yet fears isolation since Nene has been. He worried something terrible when the isolation first happened. Now, he values his times with Dad!! ❤🦍❤🦍

Ai getting ready to splash water on Shabani is pretty funny. I smiled when boss gorilla gave Ai that nervous look. He knew what she was up to. Shabani looked like he needed his space. Kiyomasa’s incessant following is such a change from before, when Nene was around. I wish we had an update on Nene. Is she even alive? Will we ever see her again? 🦍♥️💦

No se ya que pensar porque durante todo el tiempo que nene supuestamente se esta curando no hemos visto nigun video de ell y cada vez ms tengo la senscion que no quieren demuestrarlo porque 1ell h fallecido o 2 no estan haciendo gran cosa solo paliativos hasta que fallece porque les cuesta muy poco hacer un imagen de ella para calmar a todos o un informe medico sobre su estado real

Why do you keep insinuating that nene is a grumpy old lady and is a bad influence for Ai? I would be grumpy too if I was constantly harassed, attacked, and bullied and then forced to go into a cold concrete basement for my own safety because the group “protector” did not & refused to “protect”.

Some people are very grumpy when we get older and gorillas don’t live as long as humans so she old in gorilla years. And Shabani preferred or picked out Ai as alpha female but Nene wouldn’t let her because she was the boss with them two just like a Mothers word is the law 😎 not that I honestly had to explain myself to you nor anyone!!

She said that because it’s the true as Nenê is a grump gorilla as she attacked Annie since Annie joined the troop not just bite but pushed her etc and if wasn’t Shabani protecting Annie maybe the story would be really bad to Annie . So I guess you don’t know why Annie doesn’t like nene and besides Ai her daughter rejected Annie and Shabani had to raised her and finally Nene always undermine Shabani authority getting between them when Shabani was punishing Kiyo. I was watching an very old video of shortly after Shabani, Nene, and Ai became a troop😊😊 Ai and Shabani loved to play together honestly play like my sweet Annie and Kiyo does ❤❤❤IDK 🤷‍♀️just thinking and would have loved to see videos of the day they was put together as a troop😢😢It had to have been very exciting and very scary at the same time because Shabani is HUGE 😅😅
