Also, fyi: You landed this with terrible forward visibility. Trivia which I learned here on YT: The F4U Corsair wasn't approved right away for carrier landings because it had terrible forward visibility (very long fuselage forward of the cockpit). They were given to the Marines for land use, and also to the British. The British figured out how to land on carriers in spite of poor visibility: instead of going straight in, they would fly at an angle so the pilot could fly to the ship by looking out about 10 o'clock, then at the last minute they'd straighten out and just plop down on the deck. Basically, that's what you did as you approached, because of the gunsight obstructing the view.

If you transition from Taildraggers you won't notice it. just lean a bit to the left.

I love this plane, surprisingly mavourable compared to all my other plane, its frickin hard to land though, visibility is poor and engine responsiveness is terrible.

Just get her nice and slow while landing. Glide her in at about a meter of altitude until she naturally comes down on her own. Land her too fast and she goes bouncing all over the place, so never force her down.

It's the taxiing I'm struggling with. Real awkward that takes a lot of getting use to. Never feel in full control and more pre-guessing turn times, it's the straightening out that's difficult also.

The Mig-15 engine VK1 is a Nene copy same with the American Panther.

Klimov vk1 was developed from the nene...it wasnt totally russian idea....also Rate of climb of the bis is 10,000 ft per min not 5mins lol.. the pilots of mig 15s during vietnam killed more f86 pilots at first,only when they captured one and realised the bis wasnt the superjet they assumed,did the usaf top brass realise it was the pilots not the f86 causing losses...they werent as good as the russians,but after quick retraing they turned the tide of defeats into victories.

Ka-50 Black Shark.^^ It's actually I believe the oldest DCS module, but ED wanted to show off how sexy it is in the overhauled graphics of 2.5. Also they promised a texture overhaul for the cockpit, which I can't wait for.
