I think the game basically set the atmosphere for a sequel. Matthew and his friends completely forget why they go to get the Roc Feather, and forget all about the Psynergy Vortexes, which were the main reason why they were going on a quest in the first place. I think that the creators of this game meant to do exactly that, so that they can create a sequel that starts exactly where they left off, just like the original and Lost Age. Maybe Felix will be in this one again?

When the credits started rolling it was a huge let-down and I didn't feel anything. My ideas for a new game: Have a Light adept, Dark adept and even a non-adept join your party. Meet the rest of the Warriors of Vale. Bring back Battle Mode. Have a mode that lets you fight bosses from past games. New summons and psynergies! Try to give it the best graphics possible, like with the first 2 games. Close up all those annoying plot holes and loose ends. I know there's a good chance of getting a fourth, but it may take a very, VERY long time. PLEASE Camelot, give us a fourth game!

+Walter Luís Whoever designed the puzzles in this game either didn't have much time or had nothing to do with the previous games, or both. Like take Craggy Peak (actual name is Sharp Point Mountain) for example, in the ruins most of the puzzles there were "Use X psyenergy once here" and that's it, they were as much of a puzzle as the light switch on a room. Only Capricorn was any challenging and that one I'm pretty sure I've seen it in a zelda game

Super dungeon is only accessible AFTER completing the story, eh? I.e. become post-game contents. I remember back in GS2 you can access superdungeons as well as superbosses BEFORE completing the main story as long as you got certain item in final story dungeon. Should be like this. Once completing the main story, that's it...it's all over, instead of being taken back to just before final boss battle to access superdungeons & superbosses.

bah... the whole "adventure" was for nothing, starting off to bring back a stupid feather, then about these black holes that we learned nothing about and did nothing about, no story progression, they explained nothing in the end about alex, most of the characters are dull and annoying, the dialogues pointless, the "answering system" during the dialogues was confusing and made no difference. the whole story felt fragmented and not creative, characters like kraden that was the "awesome wise scholar that knows everything and has found a way to live for years and years" now felt like an idiot. the psyenergy-summons were copy-pasted and almost nothing new was offered in the new game and it was easy as fuck, 10 times easier than the first 2 games. i can keep talking for hours about what was wrong with this game. idk what the devs were trying to do, possibly to destroy every golden sun fan's dreams so that they won't be crying for another 10 years for a sequel. and that disrespect in the end... WOW! "the end.....?" u tell us assholes, don't ask us! i guess they weren't even sure themselves if their lazy, horrendous sequel would sell many copies but now that noone bought it it's for sure that it's the end! even though THE END already happened earlier when golden sun 2 finished, the rest is bullshit, dragonball gt all over again! i had some hopes that another 1 would come out and be done right this time but yea... like they'd risk something like that... fuck u camelot!

Plasmablade 946 I think another big problem was that their explanation for Angara and indeed all of Weyard changing so dramatically made no sense. The new civilizations that cropped up also made no sense. Where as the original games were heavily based off Greek/Roman mythos, all of that went out the window in Dark Dawn leaving us with a culture that is completely disconjointed with the first two installments. It was basically just a JRPG using the Golden Sun name to draw in the fan base but it was almost nothing like Golden Sun in terms of settings or characters. Even this time around the story telling was weak as piss. Adding new LH's was a lame copout. They couild have easily made a new trilogy where the Wise Ones fears are confirmed and a new power abusing alchemy arises to nearly wipe out the world by waging war. Instead we got Dark Dawn's laughable story where the main goal for the first half of the game is getting a fucking feather.

Fans everywhere were straight shafted by this ending. They could have left the series alone after the second game and I would have been happy, but for them to release a sequeal where we get to see the world after the previous events and how the characters have progressed since then only to give us that cliffhanger ending and then tell us "we might make another game if we get enough positive feedback " was a slap in the face if I ever saw one. I truly loved this game series and was overjoyed when I heard there was a 3rd game. However, after beating it I nearly hurled my DS across the room.

remember the bubbles that the isaac and co used when tret was pissed off? the fan theory is that he had that activate when the mountain was collapsing on him, which left him barely alive the way back to the cabin was probably cleared sometime during their journey, it would've taken a few weeks for all of this to happen after all (secret bit, it's not shown in game i believe, but if you go slightly off camera in the last cutscene, the cabin is completely destroyed)

Which sucks as GS1 and GS2 were not only part of my childhood but also dare i say two of the best games i've played. After the game is finished and ready for sales the gambling part Begins. From this Point on the following things are important How many copies are sold ? Is it enough to cover the costs ? How much Money can we get in Addition to our covered costs ? How do fans respond to the game? I hope i wrote down everything right until now (i´m not a native english Speaker) ^^ Now lets come back to GDD: They havent sold many copies of GDD From what i read i can at least say the covered their costs but didnt get much Profit from the game and the Feedbacks on several webistes were terrible Conclusion. Camelot views Golden Sun Dark Dawn as failure and as such they dont have any good reason to make another game because the possibility that it will flop as well is very high right now, the Reputation is shattered and the Money needed to make a fourth game would be way too much to risk another failure Plain and simple

What I dont understand.. Heart/Spade:We will not let you end the Eclipse..later...Dont worry the grave eclipse will end, WE will end it.... Ace:Go Matthew, end the eclipse, while hold on Spade and Heart....later....STOP Matthew you cannot do this... What am I supposed to understand after this??

my bet...they wil make a sequel with a third team (to add to your additional two teams) u can upload the data of your two teams if you've completed the game. alex is alive and will play a more major part...maybe those two dark adepts will be back or more dakr adepts will dshow themselves.

Explain stpry = Story :/ I think tLA is the best. It got the resolvement of the first games and makes me wonder, Are the quest that given to us was right? Are we the good guys and they the bad guys? Are what we done is right? Very Philosophical

it was very easy, except for the last boss, but using Chasm and Llus (or something) in every turn (setting and using it), and with the the two others attacking, gets easier

had to admit GSDD is kinda meh.. its like they just make it for the sake of explaining which main character from the prequel married who and yadayada. Nothing related to the 4 djinn lighthouses nor the golden sun/ the wise one at all :( mehhhhh

+asd asdas kinda simple to explain: The Story revolving around the lighthouses is over: All lighthouses were lit, the golden sun formed, thats it. For the Golden Sun itself they showed us what happened after it rose above the world by explaining the drastic changes in the world. Last but not least the wise one: Hmm theres not much to say, hes the protector of Vale assigned to guard Sol Sanctum and those informations were already given in the first two games
