I get terrible migraine to the point where it feels like my brain is on fire. Five years ago, I started doing Yoga and it stopped them. If I don't do yoga on a regular basis, those headaches come back that lead to migraine. I have even been in the ER and gotten the highest amount of morphinone that can be given and even that does not help. Only yoga helps.

I've had the same migraine for a couple of weeks now and I'm running out of options.. I'd agree with all but the one about caffeine... my neurologist told me that I should drink caffeine in the morning and when I have a migraine. It's always been pretty helpful until my Emgality shot quit working and I just took nothing for migraine except Excedrin and Tylenol with caffeine.

For some years now I have been having this periodic one sided headache, it comes during my ovulation or sometime after my ovulation it comes ones every month and last for about five to six days before it stops, but if I take any pain reliever it will stop at a moment and start again after some hours when the medication weighs off. Please what can I call this type of head am very worried
@MedIife
@MedIife 8 ай бұрын
I'm truly sorry to hear that you've been experiencing this. The symptoms you've described do seem to align with some characteristics of migraines. Hormonal changes, such as those that occur during ovulation, can sometimes act as triggers for certain individuals. For treatment, many people find relief from migraines with specific migraine medications, and some over-the-counter pain relievers can help, though it's essential to use them under the guidance of a healthcare professional. On the preventative side, lifestyle changes like maintaining a consistent sleep pattern, managing stress, and avoiding personal triggers can be beneficial. Additionally, there are preventive medications available that can reduce the frequency and severity of migraines for some individuals. However, it's crucial to consult with a neurologist or headache specialist who can provide an accurate diagnosis and personalized recommendations for both treatment and prevention. Your well-being is important, so please reach out to a healthcare professional to discuss your symptoms in detail. Wishing you clarity and relief soon!

@MedIife
@MedIife 6 ай бұрын
It's not uncommon for a sneeze to cause a brief headache due to the pressure changes in the head that occur during a sneeze. However, if this is a recurring issue or if the pain is severe, it would be a good idea to discuss it with a healthcare provider to rule out any underlying conditions. Thank you.
