Migrant spending gets more pushback from Black Chicagoans

Bishop reviews more of what Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker had to say in his budget address on the issue of paying for the ongoing migrant crisis, and dips into some of the QnA from Wednesday’s post Chicago City Council news conference with Mayor Brandon Johnson. The issue has fueled harsh criticism from the Black community in Chicago which took to the public comment period.

Every time I hear people complaining about the money being doled out to the migrants, what I really hear is that they don't care how many millions of illegals come into the country, as long as they are getting the same amount or more in subsidies from the Government. They have completely missed the entire point, and if thrown a bone from the Government, they will keep on voting Demorat. It's no wonder Democrap cities dumb down their education systems. I am presently abiding in Los Angeles County CA. Where there is,and has been for a long time, a large and significant homeless problem. Many of whom are our own Military Veterans. I'm sure that the city of Chicago is in the same situation.Where was the millions of dollars that had been needed to resolve our own needs been hidden from our most urgent civic responsibilities for the last 3-5 years?

I can't remember who said it I'd love to give them credit , but "the difference between our ancestors and the people coming here now is our ancestors came here to kiss the ground they were standing on." I thought that was beautiful. But its true. The people coming here now are entitled economic migrants expecting a handout. When people bring up our immigrant ancestors they fail to mention that a bunch of them didn't make it and had to leave and go back to their country of origin.
