But what if the simple wizard returns an error during automatic regsitration in Office 365? Failing "authenticating the application" again and again and again and again and you get the point.

It is possible to migrate with a list of user credentials, but only using IMAP protocol, which has some limitations and is not supported for tenant-to-tenant migrations.
