അച്ഛന് കൃഷി പണി ആയിരുന്നു, അന്ന് തൊട്ടേ നല്ല പഴവും മൊട്ടയും ഒക്കെ രാവിലെ കഴിച്ചാൽ മതി എന്നും ഇഡലിയും ദോശയും ഒന്നും രാവിലെ കൊടുക്കണ്ടന്നും അമ്മയോട് പറഞ്ഞു ഉച്ചക്ക് കുറച്ചു ചോറ് മാത്രം തരും ഏകദേശം അഞ്ചു നേരം പ്രോട്ടീൻസ് അടങ്ങിയ മുതിര, പയറു, കടല ഒക്കെ ആയിരുന്നു വെറുതെ പുഴുങ്ങി കഴിച്ചെ വീട്ടിൽ അരി ഭക്ഷണം നന്നേ കുറവ് അയല്പക്കത്തുള്ള ആളുകൾ കളിയാക്കിയെങ്കിലും അച്ഛന്റെ പഴയ പത്രം വായന ആയിരുന്നു ഇതിനു പിന്നിൽ, എനിക്ക് വയസു 40 ആയി ഇപ്പോഴും 5 km വരെ ഓടാൻ കഴിയും വർഷത്തിൽ 5,6 മാസം ജിമ്മിൽ പോകും പറ്റുമെങ്കിൽ ഫുട്ബോൾ കളിക്കും മദ്യപാനം ബിയർ മാത്രം വല്ലപ്പോഴും വേറെ ദുശീലം ഇല്ല, കൂട്ടുകാർക്കൊക്കെ ചോറ് ഒരു വികാരം ആയ കാരണം എന്നെ കളിയാക്കുമായിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ എല്ലാർക്കും ഷുഗർ പ്രെഷർ ഒക്കെ ആണ്, tnx for my farther still following the low carb and high protien diet,

Whey protein is normally safe to consume. But lead contamination in protein supplements is a serious problem. Many protein powder manufacturers source whey from dairy companies of Europe. The lead and cadmium levels in milk from these dairy companies are normally under permitted levels for consumption. However when whey is extracted from milk during the manufacturing of cheese the lead and cadmium content gets concentrated in it and could rise to unsafe levels. Now there are organisations like 'Labdoor' and 'NSF for Sports' that test supplements for these contaminants and also for substances that can fail athletes in dope tests and certify them. Major international Protein supplement brands send their products to these organisations and get them certified every year. But this is expensive and many local brands don't do this to cut cost. Most consumers in our country are not aware of this and buy protein supplements that may have higher levels of lead and cadmium. Consuming these contaminated protein supplements could cause serious health problems. Always check for these certifications when buying protein supplements.

പഴങ്ങളിലെ ഫൈബറിന്റെ അംശം കൂടുതലായതുകൊണ്ട് സാധാരണ ഷുഗർ വരുന്ന പോലെ അല്ല അത് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാലും എക്സസ് ആയിട്ട് കഴിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാ പഴത്തിലുള്ള ഷുഗർ പൊണ്ണത്തടിക്കും പ്രമേഹത്തിനും കാരണമാകും. ബാലൻസ്ഡ് ആയിട്ടുള്ള രീതിയിൽ കഴിക്കുക.
