In my opinion Mike Campbell is the most underrated guitarist of all time

This "most underrated ...." stuff is one of the most overrated quotes ever. Underrated by whom? Bu the Heartbreakers fans? By the Travelling Wilburys? People who play guitar - not shredders!!! - know that Mike is soooooo good. And he belongs to the "100" list of great guitarists in the rolling stone. What do you mean by "underrated"?

Mark, your name looks kinda Irish, ever heard of Rory Gallagher?

@@joe22589 Joe, Thank you for the comment. My statement said "in my opinion ". I'm not sure you caught that. I don't want to presuppose any group of music lovers...whether Willbury's or Heartbreakers or even Fleetwood Mac's. Hope this helps.

Not to sound contentious but the thing I really admire about Mike is he keeps growing as a player and his chops are next to none. A lot of legendary players tend to flatline at a point and just cruise there but Mike, Joe Walsh and Frampton comes to mind as well, just seem to keep an active enthusiasm and interest in playing which shows imo

It's funny looking back how they were kind of an underground band. Now, one of the most popular bands of all time!!! RIP Tom

Ian Snyder Agreed. Tom’s death (feels more appropriate to use his 1st name) hit me harder than any rock and roll death. If there was a Mt. Rockmore, he’d be on it.
