Mike is fucking awesome. His work with DoF was the first time I came across him, and was immediately enthralled. “Of What’s to Come” is probably my favorite album, just absolutely otherworldly drumming overall.

Mike is such an incredible human. I had the luck of growing up in Northern Ca (Vacaville & Fairfield) and meeting him through the local band scene. We had jammed together a few times but nothing serious, I always knew he would go far. It's so awesome decades later to see how successful he has become! I especially remember his silver Pearl kit he had when I met him, and to now hear he is endorsed by them, kudos Mike! I was hoping to run into you at the Exhumed show in Sacramento a few months ago but heard you were not feeling well. Hope you are feeling better and to see you at a show soon! Vince ~
