She was 25 in the film, but their child was born in 1988 a few years earlier. So you're right, he doesn't go for women quite that old. I saw him in a press cutting online with a girl who looked to be in her early teens (he was in his early 40s at the time). Although tbf, most of the Beach Boys did like their women very young ie in their early to mid teens. Dennis was a notorious satyr esp with underage girls.
