👨 About Me
Hi my name is JT & this is my story
I remember going to the gym 5 days & sometimes even every day / 7 days a week for 2-3 hours & even though I achieve a physique better than 80% of gym goers I was not satisfy with it because the amount of effort I was putting in & out the gym.
I was tired of that bullshit so I started to listen to Mike Mentzer & Dorian Yates, implemented what they preach ( workout less, train to failure, eat a well balanced diet & rest to let the growth process happens ) now I’m stronger & bigger than ever working out 3-4 x a week for 45min - 1hr max = 4 hours a week, now I got time for my family, for myself, to growth my business & enjoy life while still looking & feeling amazing & that’s what I want to share with you 🚀

wait so you warm up with the second exercise of the superset? so if I'm doing the pec deck incline press superset, I'll warm up with incline press. Do I immediately go to my working set for pec deck after my incline press warm up?

Yes, you can do 2-3 warm ups of incline then go to the flys.

I have a question: is it good to go from incline bench and straight to pec dec? Bcs its superset with same bodyparts.. not like back exercise adn than biceps

Yes it’s good. It’s definitely better then super-setting, back & biceps.

i mean, the leg extension/press seemed to be the same machine …. so the superset would make sense

So I don’t warm up before the first exercise but i warm up before the second exercise ?

Perform 2-3 Warm up with the second exercise first/ compound movement, then 1 warm with the first exercise & 1 working set for all other exercises.

Yes because you are warming up the primary and secondary muscles by warming up the compound. No need to warm up the iso exercise.

Yeah but I don’t understand if I want to train my biceps and go as heavy as I can but I have to do two sets of warmup what weight do I do that at? Otherwise I will be too fatigued to do my top set

lower your reps for warmup. like do 2 sets of warmup, 6 reps first, then 4 reps. make sure the 6 reps are aprox. 50-60% of your normal load while the 4 reps on the second warmup set is about 75-90%

Mike Mentzer specifcally said (not in this video) 50% of your normal load for the first warm-up set, and 70% of your normal load for the 2nd warm-up set, and 100% load for your workset, which you perform to failure. 6-10 reps for upperbody and 8-15 reps for the lower body. 12-20 reps for calves. Set 1: warm-up (50% load) - 10 reps or 15 for legs Set 2: warm-up (70% load) - 10 reps or 15 for legs Set 3: workset (100% load) - 6-10 reps or 8-15 for legs

​@@District.24 I haven't understood completely. What you mean is that I'm supposed to perform 2 warm up sets before performing any main set(that I'm going to achieve failure) of the workout ? Or should I just perform 2 warm up sets like how you explained before performing the first set of my workout? I'm pretty confused right now

Great in theory but try and combine exercises in a busy gym, it can't be done.
