I’m coming into this as someone who does watch TC every week and it’s been a crucial part of building my walk with God. I was really against watching this honestly, I didn’t really want to take off the blindfold cause it’s hard and I really do enjoy the church but I appreciate your approach to this. You weren’t hateful, cruel, or even disrespectful. You just pointed out things I had never considered and I really appreciate my mindset being challenged.

Mike Todd ALWAYS had dreams of becoming a music producer, so TC has subsequently provided the format to do so. When he tells his story of how God spoke to him, (in a hotel room), about making a choice between following Him or choosing a career in the music industry, apparently he never let that dream go completely. He just found a way to incorporate the two. No judgment....just observation.🤷‍♀

The Trinity was hard for me to grasp when I became a Christian. Now I always remind myself of the statement in Genesis, "Let Us." That's easiest for me. Someone like Mike Todd is probably confusing a lot of people with his showy nonsense. BTW, whenever I see a "pastor" more focused on himself and being stylish and fashionable, that's one of the warning signs that he is more about himself than the gospel. Well….. my belief is that scripture describes 3 types of songs psalms, hymns and spiritual songs see EPH 5 and COL 3. Psalms as you describe are scriptures set to melody, hymns are typically what we call “original” songs and spiritual songs are typically ephemeral songs inspired in a moment by Holyspirit… akin to a “freestyle” in hip hop if you will….
