Oscar’s being disingenuous! He knows that most fighters come from disadvantaged backgrounds and don’t know about financial literacy because schools don't teach it or learn it in the household. You can’t simply say that fighters should know how to manage their money. Most “people” don’t know how to manage their money because they were never taught to-we’ve seen lottery winners, other professional athletes, and entertainers mismanage their money because they lacked financial literacy and eventually went broke. As these fighters' promoter, Oscar should be referring them to vetted financial advisors to help them understand that money is a tool for investing and growing their wealth.
