a while ago I made a comment on if you could go pink in every fight but I have a challenge Idea can you beat this game without spending and hearts / a minimum hearts challenge

You have to spend a heart to beat Don 1 since you have to force him to block a punch, but thats the only one in the entire game and Summoning Salt has done a run of this... Also could you do me a little favour... These highscore tutorials I manually demonetized cause I dont think these Tutorials should have advertisements... But does demonetising it remove the ads? could you check? Thanks.

@@Papamanual I wish I could help you there but I have youtube red so I can't tell though having youtube red may but indirectly gives you more money I'll sign out and check for you

@@Papamanual it appears not when I signed out there was no yellow on the play bar which usually shows when an ad plays I didn't have much time to check but I 5 second fast forwarded through the whole video and it didn't stop me with an ad placement so I assume not unless I just found the best ad block on youtube I hope my findings are of help Thank you so much for the amazing content just keep doing what you're doing and don't retire keep at 'em

@@Papamanual I don't think summoning salt does TASs but I could be wrong it's a little difficult to think of a challenge that's TAS friendly but If I have any more ideas I'll be be here though one thing I would like to see is a compilation video or document of all those flow charts for each match when I first started watching your content learning about those blew my mind I didn't know the game's programming was like that at the time the rest of this comment is My story of MTPO if you want to read it I just played it on rom with a friend and we challenged each other to see how far we could get before losing a match the farthest I made it was soda pop but just barely bald bull 1 was really hard I can't believe that fight is after great tiger it's just such a difficulty spike tldr that challenge may why I started watching your content

@@saxeladude Thanks for checking. As far as I know, Salt doesnt know how to TAS (he still asks me stuff to check with TAS lol) Playing this game on emulator is hard, there is input delay which makes reacting extremely tough - if you can get your hands on a cart, console and CRT tv, its much more manageable.

ive been reading about fighter behavior, but i still dont understand how star punches work i think that you get a star if you do a non-stunned punch when youre owed a star but what about stars like the ones you get from mikes jabs in round 2? i dont see any info on situational stars like this im sorry if you mentioned this and i missed it

Those gut punches after blocking tysons jabs are not stun punches. Imagine hitting a delayed punch for a star like on Bald Bull's uppercut. Its basically the same thing. It just so happens the earliest you can hit tyson after blocking one of these jabs is in the window where you can get a star. Thats the way i like to think of it

Every second punch is a random star right, but the chance for a random star is 100% So the only way to not get a star from one of these punches is to be on a punch where you are not owed a guaranteed star and have 0 stars in the bank

@@Papamanual so if you get 2 stars then lose em. i thought stars were earned by doing specific actions... this game is magic also thank you youre smart and cool
