I remember telling my Dad back in 1989 or so that I was POSITIVE this game would have nearly infinite replay value if he purchased it for me right there and then. The only time I'd ever played it was at Sears on the Top Ten machine. I've had dreams (sometimes literally nightmares) about this game for decades with new, extremely difficult characters. Cool that Phred and others have fulfilled that in a lot of ways. Never thought I'd be able to watch the World Champion beat records in near real time either. GG!

Jeez, Salt's been on an absolute tear for a while now. Absolute top tier play helps, but Salt is quickly taking this game close to an absolute brick wall of RNG. The limits are pretty well known, but how far Salt goes is down to the grind . . . and right now, that grind is absolutely paying off.

Summoning Salt had many some early mistakes, a longer Don 2 accompanied with small missteps up to Mister Sandman put his time 7 seconds up form the world record, but just as the run seemed lost, his fight with Macho Man went flawless, putting him at only a second and a half behind the world record, he still needed to fight Mike Tyson, at this point of the run he needed Mike to not give him the 8 second delay and on top of that he needed to hit all those perfect frame punches to gain enough time for a new world record. And then... he did this.
