*You have to let Mayo go…I was on aboard up until this last game against the Cardinals to give him an extra chance. But the team on a fundamental level is getting even WORSE then they were at the start of the year. Not to mention throwing his own OC under the bus and CONSTANTLY having to walk back his comments. This has happened at least 7 times this year where he’s had to come back the next morning. If you fire any of the coordinators…who is going to want and come to this situation? No one had faith or the trust in Mayo after the way he’s behaved this year. I think he can be a HC some day…but he keeps making the same mistakes over and over and has A LOT to learn about the position.*

Dad Kraft needs to listen to Junior and jump on Vrabel and McDaniels if they both want to come. They both know the New England intangibles. Move Mayo back to Defensive Coordinator. No loss of face he just wasn't ready for the HC position yet. I salute him for taking the chance anyone would.

The only thing that could keep the Pats from moving on from Mayo and trying to bring in Vrabel is Robert Kraft refusing to budge on his poor decision to anoint Mayo as the future of the franchise. It will have nothing to do with the 3 remaining games or his popularity in the locker room. Kraft knows he made a mistake. he knows that Vrabel is the better option. The question is, will he have the balls to fix his mistake or will he stubbornly refuse to take away the anointing he gave Mayo. Do the right thing for the future of the franchise Robert! Fire Mayo and hire Vrabel.

I don’t know. Mayo deserves another year. He says stupid shit, but in terms of coaching. He needs another year to really know anything. Not a single soul would have came in here, and produced much better with this roster. As well as building a culture in a season. I have a feeling he will pan out into a really really good HC. Would hate to let him go early, and see him do it somewhere else down the line.

What makes anybody think Josh McDaniels is a good offensive coordinator without Tom Brady in the NFL of 2025? McDaniels failed at his last two coaching jobs. Sure, he was head coach, but don't you think he had some say -- in fact, veto power -- over what his offensive coordinators were running on failing teams? McDaniels is not an elite, innovative OC.
