Please keep doing more like this. The interview process and everything was so cool to see and even your analysts of someone’s body language! Very smart grass cutter indeed! 🤣🤣🤣

It is absolutely not allowed in my area too call a reference and ask why someone was fired. If you get found out it is literally grounds for a lawsuit. When you call a reference you're only allowed to ask how they were on the job. You're not allowed to ask why they left or if they were issues nothing like that. Also how do you know the reference is being honest with you I have worked for people who will dog and employee who is a good worker but left for whatever reason and the employer was butthurt they left
@MAXCODumpsters4 ай бұрын
What a stupid rule. If you have half a brain you should understand that if they fired the person they're probably going to say not so great things, but you can also assume that up front and take everything with a grain of salt.

When I do interviews I look for eye contact quick responses that are on topic without a lot of rambling. But the most important part is how someone talks whether they oversell themselves or throw other people under the bus as to why they left. Or talk s*** about the previous employer for no reason unprompted as a red flag. Also if anyone ever uses the line on the kind of guy who.. never hire that person. I will always start an employee a dollar or two less than I want to pay them and tell them they need to prove that they can do all the things they say they can do and then I will put them up. Covers my end on training and allows me to not get in a situation where I'm overpaying someone who oversold themselves

The main conundrum stems from the fact that when someone says they can weed whack Maybe they can use a weed wacker but can they weed whack professionally the way we do that's where the difference comes in. Yeah I know how to mow a lawn but there's a difference between mowing a lawn for Mom and Dad or trying to do it professionally to make money. Unfortunately some of the abilities are subjective

I smoked weed for most my life and was 1 of the hardest works anywhere i went and i know peoplw who smoke weed who are just lazy bums so it depends tbh. I dont worry bout it no more cause we run a business and i can do what i want but for hiring people it just depends.
