Hello Cajun Koi I am an 18-year-old Brazilian that should finish high school this year. It was supposed to be something I should be proud of, but I don't really feel that way... Since 2019, the pandemic has hit my life and now I realize the various problems it caused me: Procrastination, bad habits taking control, lack of direction or meaning in life, etc. I don't even know what I'm going to do as a professional career. I want to be able to change my life, to be able to Re-learn again and to be able to expand myself. That's why I found your channel. Although I think the content on your channel is excellent and simple, like the video "How I Organize My Busy Schedule (Student Edition)", I feel lost not knowing what to do or how to use your content. When I watched a video about Notion, I was completely shocked... But still, I believe that your content can help me. I remember mentions of being able to play video games without completely destroying routines, and it gave me a little hope. If you can help me with my dilemma, I would be eternally grateful. May life continue to be full for you both, Mike and Matty.

@@KoiAcademyI didn’t know much other than it was good to keep your back straight and your feet flat. Everything else was super new and helpful, especially the part with changing the height of your monitor considering my neck is usually pretty sore after studying for a few hours.

True the hunched backed always happens.
@KoiAcademy11 ай бұрын
ISitting in that hunched position can be really tough on your neck and spine. Remember to check your posture often while sitting and adjust when you notice yourself hunching. Also, make sure to do stretches to help with correcting it. Take care of yourself. 🙏🏼

SERIOUSLY recommend the Moft stand - been using the laptop stand for allmost two years now I love it! Using it with two computers so have it loose but that's no problem - lives in my backpack and takes up NO space. Also the durability have really surprised me on the positive side!

Hello Cajun Koi Academy 👋 I rarely comment even if I love your content, but here I must really thank you. After some events I started to really struggle with simple organisation and task and from what I understood from specialist I consulted, it look like a cognitive overload. Trying to manage so many stuff at the same time on top of trying to work from home became horrible and your video give some serious lead and hope to help lighten the burden and get back on track. I love the way you do things in giving practicle exemple and simple way to understand them, I love the visual effect it help retaining the information, and even in that state I can see where is my interest in those practices. Love your content guys,. New subcriber (it was about time 😁!).

@@KoiAcademy well, I have to say that ergonomics isn't something everyone worries about and it turns out to be really important when you're about to do something like study or work, because if you do it wrong you'll feel tired more easily than if you do it right. And, of course, this will affect your mood and you probably won't be able to finish what you wanted to do. You explain it! I didn't worry too much about it until I saw your video and after using it today I noticed the difference. So thank you for your awesome videos 🙏

Dang, I’ve been TERRIBLE with ergonomics. Explains why my joints sound like fireworks after studying. Also, if anyone needs it, you can save whole desktops on a Chromebook. If it dies your desktop is saved, and you can just pull it up with a click or two.

hi really love your videos it as really helped me in medical school but I had a question how do you think I can use active recall and other study methode to study a subject as anatomy
@KoiAcademy11 ай бұрын
Well, active recall is a study technique that involves actively retrieving information from memory rather than passively reviewing material. Active means that you must engage your brain actively in order to make the learning process more effective, additionally, enhancing your ability to recall information during exams or in practical applications. There are a lot of ways that you can use it to your advantage, for example: Flashcards = Create flashcards of body parts, along with nerve and blood supply. Concepts, definitions, pathologies etc, included too. Quiz yourself on anatomical terms, structures, or systems without looking at your notes. This forces your brain to retrieve information actively, strengthening memory retention. Spaced repetition = Revise flashcards regularly to keep the content fresh in your mind. Great revision tool. Explaining Concepts = Teach the concept to someone else or pretend to teach it. This solidifies your understanding. Feynmann Technique is great for that. Mnemonics = Create memorable phrases or associations to remember complex anatomical structures or sequences. Practice Questions = Regularly solve practice questions or past exams to test your understanding and application of anatomical knowledge.

Wow! As an EHR Analyst I’m surprised that you chose to still use dot phrases, shortcuts and hotkeys but not mention dictation. Do you type faster with your thoughts or are your notes on patients not heavily differentiating with narrative? Mostly check boxes?
@KoiAcademy11 ай бұрын
haha, I’ve tried both dictation and being a keyboard warrior, and it’s much easier to jump around the note using the keyboard instead of a mouse. Yes, there are lots of checkboxes in my system. Now as a content creator, dictation is really useful for quick capture while going for walks, but keyboard is still faster overall imo
