Everything is expensive right now. I am a senior citizen living on a fixed income. It's no joke when you have to decide whether you should fill your prescriptions or buy food. Prices are skyrocketing and wages and social security can't keep up. I feel sorry for people living on minimum wage. I don't know how they get by. I like you because you are doing what you like to do and making the best of your young age. (I can't really say "youth", yet I don't want to call you middle aged yet) Take care and stay safe. @@wendysmith8246 Thanks Wendy! My name is Leah. We obviously need to elect someone who cares about the economy and it's impact on the elderly and disabled. But, no-one is stepping up to the plate, but Biden, who seriously needs to retire and Donald Trump, who is obviously mentally ill and can't even accept the fact that he lost an election! We just have to keep surviving somehow and hope (and pray) for the best.

I make 20 an hour our home is paid for and cars r paid for. I have 2 daughters and a wife and we get by bc I have credit. We're in debt up to our eyeballs. Credit is so important. I also have life insurance in case something happens to me. I pray I don't get sick or hurt.

@@w.e.s. I got my little house paid for just before I was disabled in 2004. Now that I'm over 65, I get a break on the taxes. So I survive on Social Security. I carry enough life insurance for my children to bury me whenever I die. I also have credit, but have not gone up to my eyeballs, but then again I'm not raising children in this economy. I had disability insurance when I was injured the last time. I've had 3 surgeries on my back and one on my neck because my spine was degenerating . If you don't have disability insurance, get it. It will keep your head above water if you break a leg or have to have surgery, (like an appendectomy or gallbladder removal or such things that spring up out of nowhere). Disability pays like 60% of your normal paycheck. It's not a whole lot, but it's enough to pay the bills and minimum on the credit cards. It keeps you afloat until you can get well. I strongly advise it.

@@lsarlls3049 I've paid into unemployment since I was 18. I tried to pull that 3 years ago got accepted and never seen 1 check. I pay ss too that's 1800 a year I'll probably never get back. My wife don't have a license and can't work or drive bc of siezures and the state won't give her a check. It's insane. We has 10 grand in savings and since biden was elected we lost that 2 or 3 years back. It's horrible. I don't understand the people that want to fight for this country It's a disgrace to be in the army now days. I get 6000 a year for tax refunds and that's how we catch up. I sell rabbits and chickens and produce but recently people just go to the pet store or market for that stuff although mine is cheaper and better. We live in a trailer 2 bath 2 bedroom and we are cramped. But it's a nice home on 3 acres to our selves. It's only gonna get worse. I refuse to put in anymore hours seeing I've worked 2 full time jobs almost half my life. As long as the bills r paid we've accepted it. Insurance fraud sounds nice about right now...

When my son first moved to Vegas, his truck was broken into at the MGM Grand. They busted his window out inside the parking garage. He found a nice place in Henderson that’s gated. Thank heavens.

In California they won't let you stay in a motel for a full month because that establishes tenancy and then to get you out would then require petitioning the court for a legal eviction. Sacramento, California USA 🇺🇸

This is basically where I live here in South Florida. It's the seediest motel in my area but it's cheap and the location is favorable. My honey and I plan on staying here as long as possible to save as much money as we can. It's $370 a week, no deposit or lease. There are about 15 other units that are here full time. Even families with kids. Lamont I have a feeling you do not want to be there. Don't bother with it if you don't want to be there, dude! Love you. 👍❤️🐿️

I stayed at one of those rent by the month joints. The lease specifically said "Do not run prostitution out of this apartment". I don't think the neighbors paid attention to that. Very weird. There was a wide variety of people living there...some normal people, prostitutes, old people, etc.

I remember staying in one of those in Lewisville Texas and Lewisville Texas is a bougie place to live. And it depends where you're at if they're kept up. I would not personally live in one of these ever again. It was temporary and I'm glad that I did return home, to my actual home. But like Lamont said it is a good place to stay if you are in a temporary situation which we stayed there because my ex's mother was having surgery and she lived in the suburbs right behind the suites. Because I was white I couldn't stay at her house, and I'm not even white Native American so she was just so ignorant and I'm just so glad I do not live there and Lewisville Texas anymore but I imagine living in Las Vegas is very pricey. I couldn't even see myself living there. Vegas is just a temporary place to stop have fun and go back home. But with the way that the world is now and the way that inflation is taking over everything one of these places might be good for you.
