Djent is an really special genre, mainly with the things that come out of it, with all this mix of Metal and unique plus peculiar song tempo and time variation coupled with these completely off time riffs and trippy ambiences. And well, your video is one of that unique special things that is not just creative and an complete masterpiece but is also bold and insane sounding, which is for me something just wholesome as hell enough to maintain Djent alive forever! 😎🤘

Definitely what I aspire to attain with my guitar. You're an inspiration man! 🤘

Sounds like you took a huge bite out of Guthrie Govans style and blended it with metal. Sounds cool tho...
@m0skit09 жыл бұрын
And Guthrie Govan also took a huge bite at someone else's style and so on... Doesn't matter, this is awesum.
@Aer016149 жыл бұрын
Not really. hes self taught and his style is very unique. Not many people sound like him they are saying he is the next big thing in fusion.. but yeah im sure he has incorporated other styles I just woulnt know who because ive never heard anything like him before
@Aer016149 жыл бұрын
Fuckin right mate, Im adapting and incorporating Guthries style into my own playing and i have to tell you its really fun!

+Mike Le Rossetti it's not about "being better or worse than such and such idol" but about doing something with whatever skill level you're at, and you're not only at a high level but also doing something cool with your skills and sharing with the people. Nice use of the andalusian cadence by the way
@officeronduty92679 жыл бұрын
+Nijs Tim Idk i just like mike's style. mybe tosin is so good that every riff looks so complicated.
@0ester9 жыл бұрын
+Dallas Green Tosin is amazing but what he does is "harder" to appreciate for most people. Which is fine, cause I'm willing to admit that the amount of time signatures, keys and modes are excessive even to me at times. So I understand it if you think would this guy is better, cause it's easier to appreciate the skill (which is awesome).

Djent usually bores me because of its sometimes lack of complexity. You have what others don't. The ability to create good music.

This song is so good and this guy is so talented that it depresses me because I know that I will never in my life be half as good at anything I ever try as this guy is playing that guitar.
@MarkToast998 жыл бұрын
you could be twice this good. you just gotta stay on the grind and keep at it no matter how slow the progress seems. I'm absolute crap compared to this guy and most guitarists that are considered halfway decent, but I can tell you that I'm twice as good as I was a year ago. Just keep up the hard work and you'll make it.

World Known practice man. That's what I thought when I first heard this and than I was like aw fuck that noise! Went and got my self an 8 string ( never played one in my life. In fact I've played mostly acoustic my whole life) and just sat down and started practicing every day for hours after work. My wife got pissed but well... music is my life. She'll get over it 😬

It's an awesome trick caused by the low frame rate that cameras shoot at. They can't keep up with the vibrations, so they make an interesting wave.
