Thomas Pecora is a shill = WTF ...far from Tom Clancy - the CIA are terrorists! The Navy Seals team 6 that killed who they thought were bin Laden we're going to go public bc they found out it was NOT bin Laden. So these two nasty people are liars. The constant swearing is far from impressive. Being a killing machine is my impression. #DecideForYourself

My brother was a contract pilot in Afghanistan for years (a Naval Flight Officer until the RIF after Desert Storm, then a bush pilot in Alaska for a few years before Afghanistan). When he first got in-country he got quite a few briefings. One that really made an impression on him was the one about the “airborne fecal particles.” He immediately gave it a name that stuck: “shog.” You just don’t want to lick your lips on a windy day in the shog.

I agreed with everything the guy side until he mentioned Adderall. If not for Adderall, I would have never been able to finish my Master's. I even work in law enforcement and lead a totally normal life, I just haven't been able to focus historically and Adderall brings me up to the level my peers are. I've tried to reduce my dose or stop taking it, but I immediately noticed a slippage in performance at work/school. My ONLY slight concern is long-term health effects from it, particularly in a cardiovascular sense. For that reason, I am very active, made sure I have no family history of heart disease, and I get my blood work done twice a year to catch any changes. ADHD should not be lumped in with bipolar and schizophrenia. Adderall analogs have existed since WWII and they are among the most studied drugs on the planet, look it up. Very few drugs throughout history have been studied and tested as frequently as ADHD drugs have. Anyway, it was a great podcast and I really enjoyed the guest, what a fascinating life!

Well they are good for different guests. Joe rogan just had a navy seal vet, as he has had david goggins, pat Mac, and so forth. But he can only ask questions in a civilian matter. Joe would never be able to have a talk and get into the deep with convos like mike had with dakota meyer. Joe would be stuck on the acroynms and "whats that mean, what is that, could you explain" ect. Where a vet would be better off because Mike can decipher and break down some of the important acronyms civilians may want to know, but leave others like a simple MRAP vic unexplained.

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.

There's a question there towards the end where you, Mike ask him, was it worth it? All the sacrifice? I have noticed that a lot of people who have served ask themselves or get asked that question. I have never served so I wouldn't know if it is or not. I've never seen that kind of combat or lost people close to me either through combat or divorce or lost time with loved ones. The TBI's the PTSD the wrecked or ruined body. That being said...we haven't had another 9/11. As of right now at least the battlefield is still an ocean away. That is a direct result of the sacrifices that you, Mike and Tom along with your families have made on behalf of the United States of America and it's citizens. So as I said I can't answer the question of was it worth it but I can tell you this...I am extremely grateful. I am extremely lucky and proud to be an American. I can not thank ya'll enough for the service and sacrifice ya'll have made. Thank you

This is absolutely one of the best talk shows, of podcasts, online. I am absolutely amazed with the quality of human beings, either, in your network, or who becomes part of your network from the shows. If, we ever had the need to compile the resources within your network, we could have one of the greatest overall teams on Earth. Great podcast! I lectured around the country after Columbine and stressed that the jury was out on giving psychotropics to kids as there were not enough studies done on the long term effects on the developing brain. Then came HIPPA. Having worked in emergency services for well over twenty years, I understand the need for privacy, however, that being said, there needs to be a mechanism to input data from medical professionals that can identify some of the common psychological markers including those individuals on psychotropics, into a database that can identify these potential murderers. Of course, this can have its own problems but if it can help stop those individuals that should not be out on the streets, similar to the way intelligence is used to find terrorists, that could go a long way in helping to prevent more tragedies.I have always believed that if someone wants to kill people, they will absolutely find some sort of weapon to do so. No guns? No problem. Today in France a disgruntled employee used a knife to kill four police officers and a civilian employee. Mike, you bring on outstanding guests and there is always something to be learned from them. Thanks!
