So for those of you criticizing me for "Regurgitating AB content" I was waiting for the drama surrounding him to end to make a high quality documentary on him. Which showed his moments in the early part of his career. This isn't a news video. Its a career overview on one of the greatest rags to riches stories, and a cautionary tale. It’s 100% possible to be a good team player despite having the ego of a diva. I’m sure there are plenty of players to this day that fit this description and are still able to cooperate with the team. But throw in CTE, and suddenly things become very different. I agree that his ego was always there, but I believe that it was the CTE that made AB unable to mask it / turn it off for the sake of the team.

I'm 100% convinced that head trauma is the reason he's completely different now. I suffered a severe concussion about 11 years ago and it was hell. It changed me. I had almost no short term memory for 2 years. To this day, I don't remember much during that 2 year period other than being depressed. If AB had multiple concussions (after the first, it's much easier to have more), his brain is damaged. Maybe not permanently, but definitely for a few years. No, the Burfict hit definitely could not have helped matters when it comes to AB and his health. BUT this narrative that some people are trying to spin, conveniently chalking AB's ridiculous and unpredictable behavior----all his brazenly selfish/flaky/narcissistic tendencies----up to a single concussive incident is quite a stretch. Let's be honest, AB is a terrific football player who always gave everything he had on the field, but he was always a self-obsessed diva (even for a star WR) at the best of times. Ask Mike Tomlin, who made it clear that the public had "no idea" just how much of a headache AB was to coach, since his antics were largely kept in-house and under wraps. Boiling all of AB's issues, all his baggage down to that one hit strikes me as naive, misguided apologism; it doesn't take into account what was already known about his character long before that game. It also ignores other examples of guys like Davante Adams, Wes Welker, or even Junior Seau (RIP Junior, we know 100% beyond any doubt he suffered from advanced CTE after he volunteered his brain to science). Adams has taken similarly vicious hits to the head more than once, and yet not only does he still perform at the highest level... HE STILL ACTS AND BEHAVES LIKE A TRUE PROFESSIONAL. Same goes for Welker (whose career was cut short by head injuries), Junior Seau, *or the untold number of other NFL players, active and retired, that suffered serious TBI's during their careers without transforming into clownish me-first me-always headcases!!*

It doesn’t take a psychiatrist to see the number one issue that caused the change in his personality. His fear of abandonment made him work extremely hard to become a player who people would respect and love but he didn’t always receive the respect that he felt that he had earned. That made him feel let down by people he considered to be friends and they basically abandoned him just like his parents. The hits to his head may have made him realize that he was doing more than enough and taking way to much risk for people who don’t appreciate and love him. He lashed out and resorted to crazy tactics to get attention that he desired. He pushed people away rather than let them be the one to let him down emotionally. I love you AB.

The hit from Vontaze is what really kicked it into high gear. I really do feel for him because mental health is incredibly important to me it breaks my heart that a talent like AB has lost everything do to very clearly suffering one too many brain injuries. The NFL just swept it under the rug.

Idk everyone jumps right to cte. It could also be the steroids the nfl puts these guys on. Incredible research and story of the rise and fall one man namely Antonio Brown. He was a truly gifted WR. A documentary of this nature does most certainly require all of statistics the incidents both good and bad. I have seen what heights a person can reach. What got him to that level. Brady could make rookies look good on the field even when the chemistry has not had the time to mature. A wide out that can make second nature receptions without knowing a complete set of formations and reads is second to none. He had taken synergistic connection with Brady. Thank you so much for a great documentary on AB.

Antionio Brown has a wounded soul and possible CTE from that vicious hit. That hit was devastating. When they helped him up, a different Antionio Brown emerged. His former teammates are trying their best to help him. His behavior is so erratic. They believe it’s due to CTE. I believe needs to be evaluated by healthcare & mental health evaluation & intervention.

Antonio Brown has burnt 5 teams and I don't think there are any takers for number 6; while he is good, he is way too much drama to deal with. What team wants all that drama and distraction not to mention he tried to start a COVID OUTBREAK IN THE BUCCANEERS RANKS by bringing that and I use the term loosely "Model" into the teams hotel sneaking her by hotel security.. That is total disregard for the health and safety of his teammates. No there won't be anymore offers for AB he fucked up big time this time..
@curqo97112 жыл бұрын
After what he did to both the Bucs organization, how he bad mouthed TB12 after he brought him into his home, treated him like a brother, his chaotic actions after this whole thing, not to mention his age, Antonio Brown will likely not get another shot, nor should he, in my opinion. The man can play ball, but what he does to your organization, the stress and bull crap he brings is simply not worth his ever so decreasing impact.

At first, this goes back a couple years oh, I was like what is wrong with this young man. Then after a while I understood that he was dealing with issues. I felt that most had abandoned this man and during his issues I said no, he's dealing with issues and you got to give this brother some space. You got to give this brother some consideration cuz he got to get some help. I was once again all for AB After his fieldside tirade in the Tampa Bay game against the Jets I thought okay he's going off the rails again. I never knew about to hit in the Bengals game. I believe that's when everything changed for this man. I am back to supporting him. You will see, CTE is some real shit and it affected him. And I feel very badly for this man. Especially his comments towards Tom Brady the GOAT. Afterr Brady did so much for him! Think about this people, he's not thinking logically. I'm not defending or apologizing for Brown, but there are Two sides to every part of this heavily biased video. Sometimes AB is just wrong, but other times there's a lot more to the story. AB is considered to be one of the greatest to ever play, but he's treated like a criminal on probation by his Coaching Staff and front office. He's paid like scrub, but expected to produce world class feats on the field. The Bucs treated him like a second class citizen, and HC Arians hates AB personally. Say what you will about AB, but he makes a lot of good points and isn't the only one to blame in all this. There's a lot of hypocrisy in the NFL. It's extremely difficult to spin this story, but I tried(laughing).
