that should be in the settings it tells you the recovery folder location, although likely the filenames wont be the same

what if you emptied trash with a few files you needed? Also will it work on Mac? Also they don't just identify for free and then charge you for the data to recover it do they? Or how much data can you recover for free?

What is the best software to use to solve this issue? I have this old PowerPC HDD that should have had an Apple Partition Map, but I have an MBR on it instead. Don`t know how it happened but it did back in like 11 years ago. So, I am looking to change it and organize the files on it based on what it should have without losing anything at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Isn't there a feature that allows the corrupted files to be copied to a different location for recovery so the problem drive isn't at risk of being compromised excessive scans? Disk-Drill and R-Undelete do have this useful feature.

I accidentally used my 1TB HDD as a bootable drive to change the OS. Since it was used as an esd usb, all the data that was in it is currently gone. I had used about 600 GB of space in the disk I believe. Can I use this software to retrieve all of my previous files?
@mikesunboxing Жыл бұрын
it might be possible, if the data is extremely important i would suggest getting it recovered professionally. and don't use it if you can help it, every time you use it the data gets harder to recover intact

I know my ? is out of context for this video. But my ? is based on a very old video of yours. The ?. I have a B550 Tomahawk. The board has 2 NVME Gen 4 slots on board. One is controlled by motherboard (lower one) and 2nd controlled by CPU (upper one). I have 2 NVME gen 4 2tb installed. Lower is system drive. In MSI Bios it shows only slot one as installed and slot 2 empty. Yet Both are being used and both work perfect. So why is bios seeing only one of them?
@mikesunboxing Жыл бұрын
Is one a sata based drive? That might show elsewhere but otherwise no idea sorry
@kabochsaygo6976 Жыл бұрын
@@mikesunboxing ; First, thanks for Quick reply. But your quick reply brings to mind a new ?. Do you sleep with your PC? 😄👍You had done a video back 2 years ago on this motherboard. So I thought you would know the board. Both NVME slots are on the board. Lower one is controlled by motherboard chipset, and upper controlled by CPU. So neither is connected to sata. Though when each is in use they will disable sata ports 1 and 5 of the 6 sata ports. It isn't really an issue of not showing in bios, since they both work without issue. Just not sure which is showing on bios, since both are identical drives (Samsung 2tb gen 4).

Did not work. It actually created Jpegs of my videos for some reason and recovered large file sizes but none of which were playable. They were on a GoPro so I am not sure if the file architecture had any bearing on why I got the results I did. If you have any suggestions even if it's paid (as long as I can preview before purchasing, I'd appreciate it. Was hoping I could have got something with this.
