Aspinall is the current HW UFC champ, Jones has never beaten a HW champ and he is unwilling to fight the top people, Jones knows his last few fights at LHW were hard fights and Tom is too good for him and he wants to retire unbeaten. Tom is the future.

I have no idea where this famous quote actually originated, but I feel that Tom is really living to it. "The worst thing that can happen to any fighter is to get civilised." It's amazing to see Tom living simple (as simple as he can in this day n age), keeping hungry, not getting distracted by all of the circus. He's a real fighter who MUST be better than everyone. I like the attitude of Tom. Stop chasing Jones and just get out there, f up some more people... and make it so he HAS to fight you... for his OWN legacy. I, for one, really do want to see him fight Stipe. I want to see Jones fight Aspinall. I want to see him fight Pavlovich. I want those things regardless of whether Jones retains the title. In the meantime... Aspinall should fight Gane or Blaydes (preferably, Gane). If Aspinall were to end Gane anywhere near as dramatically and quickly as Jones did... then that would practically FORCE that fight to happen.
