Omg, the way you explained how to do a slip knot has been the best description/way I have ever heard. Even enjoyed the little phrase you did for it.

I've had looms for decades and never made a single thing on them. Now I'm all excited. I'm in the joy club with you, Mikey! Thanks so much for this tutorial. Oh, and by the way, I had a mini panic attack when you took that first loop off to do the ribbing, then I was stunned by how easy you made the whole process look. :)

I prefer the change the directions of the ribbing versus purling in real-time as I loom knit. I find it's faster and less frustrating.

Thank you so much for this easy to understand tutorial!! I have a question ❓ How would you add ear muffs to the sides of the hat? Do u do this at the end? Or cast off till you reach where u want the ear muffs? Idk

I just got a set of looms and have been trying to find tutorials... so this is perfect timing! I'm working on an e-wrap and purl stitch pattern hat for my little niece right now, but I'm still trying to figure out how to make the ends look nice.
@TheCrochetCrowd3 жыл бұрын
Glad it was helpful! I'm unsure what you mean by the ends.

I use a latch hook from my rug kit to do what you did with the hook. When you get the yarn on your hook just do a circle and wallah. No need to remove the yarn from the hook.

I e-wrap and purl as I go. Try alternating each row, it makes a great pattern. I also use the 41 peg for slouchy adult hats.

@@TheCrochetCrowd I done one row ewrap and one row purl, repeat as one pattern after the brim. My fave pattern is e-wrap, purl and do the opposite the next row, repeat.

@@TheCrochetCrowd If you go into blankets or scarfs on the loom there is a crochet cast on and cast off.

No reason it wouldn't work.. It's the same as regular yarn🤔 just unwind a few feet.. Crank.. Repeat.. Just like using a Skien..

It's a brand new yarn format of wrapping yarn so there is no tangles. We have videos on O'Go as it's brand new as of last week.
