You most likely installed your speedometer sensor on wrong on your front wheel

I turned mine around and it reved high from the throttle cable beind turned around... how do i fix that

The original carb has a throttle screwed to the side, this one doesn't how does that work? Do I just leave it as part of the old carb and plug this one in with the same jet?

Great video. I ordered the carburetor from the link you provided. Did you use the original jet? And did you have to do any adjustments to the jet needle position? If so what jet size did you use and what position did you have to adjust the jet needle? I just recently purchased the taotao hellcat and wanted to do the upgrade. Thank you.

I bought Jets and changed the jet to a 110 jet. Then I didn't need to adjust anything

how come the light on your dash is orange & mine is blue? Ive seen on some of the chinese clones you can change the dash color but idk..

BUGGY 777 that's the way came and I can't change it. Yeah some others can change different

N P yeah you have too. Otherwise it can get too hot. It takes alway some of the heat so the carb doesn’t get to hot.

Sushi Moto no not much. It more less makes the bike run smoother, little more snappier and not run lean, cause you can switch out the jet on this. So when you get it, get the jet kit as well. But when you put the pipe on too, you can notice some power and more pep

How well is ur hellcat made vs. the ssr razkull I want to buy a hellcat but I had a dealer tell me the srr was better but doesn't have and has never sold a hellcat he sells razkulls so I wanted to hear someone's honest opinion that actually has one and rides it?

KartRacer#8 both great, just your looks that you like the best. hellcat will need little attention cause its being shipped and stuff like that. and need to change sprocket if want to get up to 60-70mph.

I've been riding mine for a while now and its a great little bike for the money, I think the stock carb is just a bit too cheaply made. Is this one just a drop in replacement? did you have to change the jets? Beyond tuning do I have to change anything else to get it to work with the bike? new throttle cable?

Sound Wizard yeah I agree and which is why I replaced it. But yeah it's a drop in replacement. You will have to remove the old air box. If you do after market pipe or anything I'd put new jets in it.

BANG BANG SCOOTER GANG tried the vm22 mikuni with a new matching intake. Now my throttle cable is too short. Run into that problem possibly? Couldn't figure out how to message you.

Did you use the stock air tube from engine to carb? on mine the stock one was only a 19mm ID, but bolts up to a 27mm ID on the motor, I upgraded to a 26mm carb, mine came with a tube and filter, the new air tube is a 26mm ID which would be better so its not restricting the air down to the 19mm. My hellcat came with a 25mm carb, so I was surprised to see the air tube was still a19mm. I dunno just something I noticed and thought I'd pass along. Also when you swapped carbs, did you use the stock slide, spring, needle and cable boot? or did you use the one that came with the new carb? I'm installing my carb now, and the new one has WAY too much cable slack, but wasn't sure if I should just use the stock needle setup

Ben Marshall yeah I noticed that, I just used the new carbs air tube. Then I used the stock throttle cable and just hooked that up the the new slide on carb
