OP should have talked to her husband way earlier. I am not blaming her for anything but this; however she really lost the right to hold that shit against him when it's her that kept him in the dark.

Idk anything with the law but the OP's SIL literally forged a death certificate which can totally be the grounds for arrest?? Again I'm not at all well versed in law but I think that alone would be more than enough for Calling the cops and pressing charges

By common senses when the father left the inheritence for family, it was mostly usually interpreted as to his grandchildren should his children has childs. Not really for spouses. She is just as greedy as the mil and sil. She already consider some of it as her money like the guy is her father that left the money to her

@1Scimetar

Yeah, it isn't only missing the inheritance that OP had saved her husband from. If that fraudulent death certificate had been filed, any issue that would have forced him to job hunt, buy a car or house, or anything else that would involve the government or finances would have been hard to pull off. It would have also been a massive court battle to get the death certificate repealed based on how I've heard that after getting rescued, the IRL version of Tom Hanks' character in Cast Away ended up spending double the amount he had on the island trying to g3t himself declared legally alive.

OP fails due to lack of communication. The whole " i deserve some of that inheritance because it says soo too" and the " we may seem greedy, but we deserve this" looks really bad too. I hate the entitlement people have in relationships. " i know the solution, so what i say is right and he better do it" like Jesus lady look in the mirror and talk to your husband. None of this would have happened if it weren't for HIS family not yours.

“It’s not only your inheritance, it’s mine as well!” Yikes, that gave me the ick. Op doesn’t sound that much better, because it sounds like she’s more mad about the money, that she had no idea about, rather than her in-laws making false documents about her husband’s death. Edit: nah I don’t like this op, she sounds way too money oriented in the negative sense. I don’t like the sister or mother in law either but they got what they deserved so I’m not mad at that situation. Call me petty, but op’s husband should have left her. I know we keep using the word “divorce” quite loosely nowadays but every thing about op after she heard about the inheritance was off to me. Even when describing the new house… that put me completely off. B****, you didn’t even know your father-in-law but you acting like he would’ve wanted you to have it.🤨 Best believe if the husband leaves her and they still don’t have kids all that inheritance would just belong to hubby!

This can easily be summed up with "Op may be right, but she's still the asshole.". Seriously, woman! Think about what your doing! You expect your husband to press charges against people he's loved his entire live. Doesn't matter if they're complete douchebags. He doesn't see them that way and if you want to pull him to your side, then you have to understand his side and not just bluntly insist on being right!

@@stephano2996 sure but its not her family. Its not her fight. She should have talked to her husband first, he probably would have agreed. Its HIS grandfather not hers. Instead, she goes " see i deserve it too, his grandfather said it in the will. I deserve this. We deserve this." Even if she correct, if i were the husband, id have trust issues after because she made a decision on something that is basically his business instead if communicating and then when he was clearly mad about it, threatened divorce. I checked out one of your vids. Sorry if this is harsh. But hope it will help you. Also.. couldnt help but comment even tho you didnt ask me. 1. every time there is a comma or punctuation the pause is too long in your vid. Even at 2x speed, the payse is wayy longer than with this dude. 2. no background music, and some personally pref background music (as long as it is very low) 3. your story was NOT a good selection a. It didnt even have an ending. Who cares listening to a story that is not resolved and that has nothing to do with you as uploader. Your latest video ended with a question.. like why do I waste my time listening to a question? b. This dude even has screenshot of redditor awards. Which gives us a promise that a lot if people already have found the story entertaining. If even 1 of your vids are pointless, people will not subscribe or will at least have lesser chance of giving future stories a shot. c. Many people prefer longer format. Some of your vids are less than 5 min. d. These vids appeal to people because very often there is a morale of the story. Yours did not have that. e. Often, the main characters are clever, or learning to become clever. f. It is not enough that the listener feels sorry for a person. The person needs to reach a conclusion or lesson of learning.

the op is greedy af just like the other two women. what a shocker. most cases if it says "and families" it means if the person in the will is deceased it goes to their next living heir usually means a child not a widow. so even if her husband was dead the odds are she wouldn't get anything anyways. not that every single person of that "family" get a piece of the pie.
